Why are we here? What are you? What is the purpose? Is there a purpose? What’s this all about? Every religion, philosophy, and esoteric system tries to answer this, most believing they have. Do you question your reality? Is this reality just an accidental physical realm of matter? A purposeful divine creation? A Dream? Hologram? A simulation? A matrix? A game? A puzzle? A maze? A illusion? A trip? A hallucination? A book? A fractal? A reflection? A reality show? A birth? A way to evolve? A way to devolve? A prison? A farm? A experience? Whatever you make it? Some of them? All of them? None of them? You Decide. “Because what occurred to me is that when you talk about the individual, and you deal with the individual, you find that the end of the individual is neurosis. To be individual means that there is “self” and “not self”. Okay? So where I stop.. the boundaries of “me”, right, this physical body; the boundaries of me that stretch out.. things I believe in.. I’m sure we’d all be friends if we talked – but would we be friends with Newt Gingrich? No. But that’s the point: I stop, where Newt Gingrich starts. Why is that? Why do I stop there? Why does *he* define my self-sense? And I can’t absorb him? Why do these fuckers.. why does the Skull And Bones Society, or the CIA.. why do the 33º Masons – why are they different from us? They’re not – they want to explain things. They want an answer. They’ve found an answer that seems to suit them – which seems kind of uncool and cruel to me, because it involves exploiting other people. But they’re looking for an answer. We’re all looking for the same thing: Why. Are. We. Here? Why *are* we here? What are you doing here today? What do you expect? What do you expect to take home with you? Can anyone answer? Can one person tell me what you expect to take home from all of this?....” Grant Morrison Let’s try to figure that out. Influential Sources I am mainly writing this for myself as a reference point of information I have come across - a way to collect my thoughts and organize sources, with hope it will help others. The following is a compilation of information from sources I have read, watched, and listened to over the past years. I have written this from a personal synthesis using the teachings of multiple schools of Gnosticism, Hermeticism, Chaos Magick, and other numerous forms of philosophical and esoteric systems. Usually they list recommended books/resources at the end, but this is where I have got most of my inspiration from. I use many quotes as these sources are much better written than anything I could write. The expedition to truth, gnosis and love is ever evolving and I try to never attach to any one source or set of beliefs. The journey is long and it will take years to get through all this information some of it contradictory and paradoxical. "If you don't at least occasionally contradict yourself, your position isn't nearly complex enough." - Terence McKenna. I almost never fully agree with one source of information, I do find that they all help me expand my perception and mind. I use open minded skepticism, and as long as the information is presented logically, rationally, and with no perceived ulterior motives, then I will entertain it. At minimum it will be food for thought or possibly it will have a profound impact on the way I perceive things, think, and live. If something resonates with your truth then let it help you, if it does not resonate than let it go and move on. These are the sources of information along with my personal experience, which has shaped my perspective and philosophy of life. I hope that this information may help anyone who is striving for truth, gnosis and love. “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” Aristotle Take the time to read/watch them and if you come across any terms or ideas you don’t know much about, read about those also. Let it take you down wormholes or possibly rabbit holes of information. Somewhere in the words and more importantly between the words, may you find what you are looking for. Nesteby Submitted to the Graduate College of Bowling Green State University in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree in Doctor of Philosophy August 1978 Approved: © 1978 JAMES RONALD NESTEBY ALL RIGHTS RESERVED ¡ ¡ in Abstract The Tarzan series of Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875-1950), beginning with the All-Story serialization in 1912 of Tarzan of the Apes (1914 book), reveals deepseated racism in the popular imagination of early twentieth-century American culture. The fictional fantasies of lost races like that ruled by La of Opar (or Atlantis) are interwoven with the realities of racism, particularly toward Afro-Americans and black Africans. In analyzing popular culture, Stith Thompson's Motif-Index of Folk-Literature (1932) and John G. Cawelti's Adventure, Mystery, and Romance (1976) are utilized for their indexing and formula concepts. The groundwork for examining explanations of American culture which occur in Burroughs' science fantasies about Tarzan is provided by Ray R. Browne, publisher of The Journal of Popular Culture and The Journal of American Culture, and by Gene Wise, author of American Historical Explanations (1973). The lost race tradition and its relationship to racism in American popular fiction is explored through the inner earth motif popularized by John Cleves Symmes' Symzonla: A Voyage of Discovery (1820) and Edgar Allan Poe's The narrative of A. Gordon Pym (1838); Burroughs frequently uses the motif in his perennially popular romances of adventure which have made Tarzan of the Apes (Lord Greystoke) an ubiquitous feature of American culture.

This outstanding Meissen collection includes two white porcelain models of a lion and lioness (estimate: £3,000,000-5,000,000) and a white model of a fox and hen (estimate: £200,000-300,000) commissioned for the Japanese Palace in Dresden together with a white element vase in the form of a ewer (£10,000-15,000). “The porcelain menagerie was an ambitious and unparalleled project in the history of ceramics and the magnificent size of these models is a testament to the skill of the Meissen factory,” said Rodney Woolley, Director and Head of European Ceramics. “The sheer exuberance of these examples bears witness to the outstanding modelling of Kirchner and Kändler. The opportunity to acquire these Meissen masterpieces from the direct descendants of Augustus the Strong is unique and we are thrilled to have been entrusted with their sale,” he continued. The works of art have been recently restituted to the heirs of the Royal House of Saxony, the Wettin family.     Compilation of Rama/Atmananda Experiences Introduction: I am happy to share with you a compilation of journal entries of our study with Rama/Atmananda. These notes were originally captured after seminar meetings and other events by Ben Larner, an ST1. Ben passed away in 2013. During the last weeks of his life, Ben told me I would find several boxes filled with his hand-written, single-spaced yellow legal pad journals. Ben told me I could read them, publish them, or just throw them away; it would be up to me. For the past few years, I mostly ignored the writing, as I thought it would be far too personal. However, recently, I started to go through the notes and created a system for skimming over the personal information and extracting the Rama-related notes. I hope you enjoy reading this compilation! Thanks to Ben for keeping such detailed notes, and eternal gratitude to Rama, our teacher, for his wisdom and love. I am sharing one personal entry from Ben’s journal, to give you an idea of how much Ben loved Rama/God with all his heart. Dear God, I love you! DuLong, FCHSM member ([email protected]) Many French Canadians descend from the noble lady Catherine Baillon and through her they have ancestors far removed from the cold shores of the St. Lawrence. Among her medieval Franco-Italian ancestors who once basked in the warmth of the Mediterranean are the Grimaldis. In the Table d'ascendance de Catherine Bail/on (12 generations) two Grimaldi descents for Catherine Baillon are presented. 1 The first goes through the Grimaldi of Beuil family and the second is through the Grimaldi of Antibes family. 2 While the former stands intact, the latter is in need of correction. In the ninth generation of Catherine Baillon's ancestry she descends from Rainier Lascaris, count of Vintimille and co-seigneur of La Briga and Limone. He was the son of Ludovic (or Louis) Lascaris, count ofVintimille, and Tiburge Grimaldi de Beuil. Rainier was married around 1400-1403 to Madeleine Grimaldi, the daughter of Luc Grimaldi and Yolande Grimaldi, whose parents, and thus her relationship to Luc, are unknown. Luc was the brother of Marc Grimaldi, with whom he shared the seigneuries of Antibes, Cagnes, and Menton. 3 It is well established that Luc and Marc were the sons of Antoine Grimaldi who was married to Catherine Doria. 4 The issue is who are the parents of Antoine Grimaldi? In the Table d'ascendance de Catherine Bail/on (12 generations) the answer to this question is that Antoine Grimaldi was the son of Rainier I Grimaldi, the founder of the family that eventually became the princes of Monaco.

An often-cited study by the Assyriologist Carl Bezold claimed to discern significant Mesopotamian influence on early Chinese astronomy and astrology. This study has been cited as authoritative ever since, includ- ing by Joseph Needham, although it has never been subjected to careful scrutiny. CATUDAL, Jr., Collegeville, Minn.” Summary: The mini- or microstate is an important but little studied phenomenon in political geography. This article seeks to redress the balance and give these entities some of the attention they deserve. In general, five microstates are examined; all are located in Western Europe-Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican. The degree to which each is autonomous in its internal affairs is thoroughly explored. And the extent to which each has control over its external relations is investigated. Disadvantages stemming from its small size strike at the heart of the ministate problem. And they have forced these nations to adopt practices which should be of use to large states. THE INTRIGUING QUESTION Invitation to Dr Theodor Herzl to attend Audience with Pope Pius X On 25 January 1904, the Feast of the Conversion of St Paul, the recently-elected Pope Pius X granted an Audience in the Vatican Palace to Dr Theodor Herzl, leader of the Zionist movement, and heard his plea for papal approval for the Zionist project for a Jewish national home in Palestine. Dr Herzl outlined to the Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church the full details of the Zionist project, providing assurances that the various Holy Places in Palestine would be “ex-territorialised” to ensure their security and protection, and sought the Pope’s endorsement and support, preferably through the issuing of a pro-Zionist encyclical.
