Richard Broadhead – ‘Finding the Forgotten’

Historian and author Richard Broadhead has, for a number of years, been researching casualties of the Great War. Richard has written a number of books focused on Wiltshire towns providing detailed information on each casualty. Find out about his work and those who fought and died in WW1 in this interesting and moving talk.

Professor Elemental

Welcome to the world of Professor Elemental. An award winning hip hop artist and accomplished host, the Professor has performed all over the world at everything from festivals to wedding parties, hip hop shows to bizarre burlesque. A regular on the worldwide convention and festival scene he has played everywhere from Canada to Cambodia.

With a career spanning a decade, Professor Elemental first got noticed with ‘Cup Of Brown Joy’ which notched up over two million views and headlines in the national press. This was soon followed by a scuffle with another rapper named Mr B, resulting in the follow up ‘Fighting Trousers’; which has been viewed over three million times and gained worldwide acclaim.

On stage the Professor is a wild combination of music and comedy, incorporating improvisation and new material for each live show. Music

CLOGS Musical Theatre have been entertaining the good folks of Chippenham for 40 years. In recognition of 70 years since the beginning of WW2 they bring to the stage BLITZ! The Musical written by Lionel Bart of Oliver fame. A show for all the family.

In 1940 the East End of London is taking a pounding from Hitler’s bombs. Life, however, goes on, centring around the matriarchal Mrs. Blitztein and her large family, especially her petty-criminal son Harry and her beautiful daughter Carol. They all fight their own particular battles with neighbours and authorities alike, through many situations, some humorous, some tragic, and eventually find their own individual peace. It features many hit songs, including ‘The Day After Tomorrow’, ‘Who’s This Geezer Hitler?’, and ‘Mums and Dads’. Event
