DOI: http://doi.org/10.18172/brocar.3751 LOS MAESTROS DE PRIMERAS LETRAS EN LA RIOJA A MEDIADOS DEL SIGLO XVIII José Luis Gómez Urdáñez Universidad de La Rioja [email protected] Nuria Pascual Bellido Universidad de La Rioja [email protected] Jonathan Alvarez Arias, Julen Bermúdez Sarasola, David Frías Anzuola, Mikel García Benito, Juan Pedro Pedroarena Espinal, Pablo Pérez de Felipe, Mario Sáenz Martínez, Unai Salinas Barandiaran, Javier Zúñiga Crespo1 RESUMEN: Mostramos en este artículo la realidad del magisterio en La Rioja a mediados del siglo XVIII basándonos en el catastro de Ensenada y en do- cumentos de la sección judicial del Archivo Histórico Provincial de La Rioja (AHPLR), fuentes que nos permiten comprobar que los maestros de primeras letras gozaban en La Rioja de una situación muy favorable y que su condición de servicio público necesario era aceptada ya en todos los pueblos. Pagados por los concejos y los padres –las dos fuentes de ingresos que recogió la ley Moyano de 1857–, los maestros gozaban de prestigio, desempeñaban oficios como organista, sacristán o incluso notario, y en general, disfrutaban de una buena situación económica relativa, siempre en el terreno de la austeridad obligada, pero muy por encima de la sociedad campesina en que se asenta- ban. 1. Así mismo se realiza una pequeña descripción del status, abundancia, distribución, carácter migrato - rio y fenología de todas las especies de aves observadas en La Rioja. Se aportan 301 citas de 121 de las 302 especies de aves silvestres observadas hasta el momento en La Rioja. Se recogen las primeras citas en La Rioja de barnacla canadiense grande (Branta canadensis ), busardo moro ( Buteo rufinus ), calamón común (Porphyrio porphyrio ), archibebe fino ( Tringa stagnatilis ) y págalo grande (Stercorarius skua ). Las segundas citas de garceta dimorfa ( Egretta gularis ), morito común (Plegadis falcinelus ), aguilucho papialbo ( Circus macrourus ), águila motea - da ( Aquila clanga ) y aguja colipinta ( Limosa lapponica ). Y la tercera de porrón acollarado ( Aythya collaris ). Se añaden cuatro nuevas especies a la lista de las especies exóticas esca - padas de cautividad: pato joyuyo ( Aix sponsa ), ánade picopinto ( Anas poe - cilorhyncha ), flamenco chileno ( Phoenicopterus chilensis ) y gorrión de Java (Padda oryzivora ). Se aportan, además, 17 citas para 12 de las 32 especies que conforman la misma. Se documenta la primera reproducción segura de barnacla canadiense grande ( Branta canadensis ) en los Sotos de Alfaro, tarro blanco ( Tadorna ta dorna ) y gaviota reidora ( Chroicocephalus ridibundus ) en El Lago de Herra - mélluri y de calamón común ( Porphyrio porphyrio ) en El Recuenco, Calahorra.

Abstract The paradigm of research universities linked to the emergence of university rankings has unified and universalized the criteria relating to the quality of higher education. This situation has led to multiple responses across global society, which has started rating the quality of higher education systems through these rankings, supported by a series of indicators aligned to the characteristics of research universities. Given that the quality of a country’s higher education is one of the fundamental pillars of its development, many countries have started to take government action in this respect. In the case of Peru, the response has been quick, with law 30220 being approved in 2014. It aims to regulate the quality of higher education through a series of specific conditions.
