I love the way he draws, but here it just felt wrong. The motions are uninspired and stiff, and the story is even worse. Of course the predicament of the story is not something wholly serious and all for Archie: Man from R.I.V.E.R.D.A.L.E. Archie comic, but it was just very dry and overdone. And the covers- oh my gosh, they are so cool! The opening cover of each issue was actually far more action-packed than the actual story. Oh my god. The 60s were undoubtedly the best Archie period. Harry Lucey's Archie: Man from R.I.V.E.R.D.A.L.E. is fittingly gorgeous, and that story has more meaning and life than the actual main story. I mean seriously, zombies taking over Riverdale? The arch nemesis is an old villian from the young Archie comics so Archie gets involved along with several of Archie: Man from R.I.V.E.R.D.A.L.E. friends. It's basically a fun take although the unpublished Andy comic at the end gives an idea of the state the world was in during the Cold War which is also really interesting. This is a list of various alternate universes featuring characters from Archie Comics. Most Archie stories take place within a setting that is gradually updated over the years, and events in one stories are not commonly referenced in others, but those stories remain largely in continuity with each other. However, there have been several series of stories that take place outside of this continuity, featuring alternate versions of the characters in different settings. Launched in the autumn of and intended for adult readers, this comic presents Riverdale as ground zero for a zombie apocalypse. The beanie is rather simple to operate; the wearer imagines himself in the time and place pictured, however it requires concentration, which was always a weak point for Jughead. Joined by Deputy January McAndrews Archie's descendant from the 29th century and Jughead's secret love interestJughead travelled across history, ensuring that history stayed on its proper course. While most issues dealt with history, some focused on science. Paradoxes and existential dilemmas were Archie: Man from R.I.V.E.R.D.A.L.E. plot developments, such as Jughead being warned that Isaac Newton would not hypothesize about physics, only for Jughead to knock an apple out of a tree he is hiding in, thus hitting Newton and inadvertently causing Newton to theorize about gravity. Life with Archie is a comic book published by Archie comics from to It featured Archie Andrews in adventure stories that were more dramatic than the standard Archie tales. This title featured longer stories as compared to standard Archie comics one to two stories per issue, instead of the usual four. Most often, the stories were of adventures experienced by Archie and the gang, as they thwarted thieves, smugglers, ghosts and the like. Later issues of Life with Archie homed some of the earliest appearances of Cheryl Blossom. This title was revived infollowing the parallel universes of Archie's married lives with both Betty and Veronicacombined with teen-magazine style features.
