I’m a civil engineer from the working in strategic asset management. Originally from NZ, I have spent the last five years living and working in Sydney. Throughout my career, I have been a researcher of road failures, a project engineer for the World Bank, and now an asset management practitioner in Local Government.

After originally graduating from UTS with a Mechanical Engineering degree with Honours and spending several years as a Mechanical Engineer, I decided that playing and working with dirt seemed more attractive and went on to complete my Civil Engineering degree with Honours. I now work as a Senior Development Services Engineer and Team Leader at .

I grew up in Yass, but am now living in Canberra. I spent almost 10 years at , completing a civil engineering traineeship and studying part time through Central University. After a couple of years of Development Engineering at Queanbeyan Council I recently joined as one of the directors at a small civil engineering consultancy in Yass. I’m passionate about seeing the industry developing their own engineers through cadetship programs.

I have lived in Dubbo most of my life and have been working for Dubbo City/ since starting university in 2005. My current role is Council’s Senior Projects Engineer. In addition to my 2 year old daughter, my wife and I are expecting twin boys in July this year.

Having being employed as a student engineer at Randwick City Council over 11 years ago, I have recently been promoted to the ‘Manager Infrastructure Services’ Position. I have a civil engineering background which has afforded me the opportunity of multiple positions at Council from building teams, asset teams and project teams. I grew up in Uralla in northern NSW. I attended boarding school in Sydney before attending UNSW to study Civil Engineering. At the completion of my studies I moved to Junee, to start work at the Council as a Trainee engineer, where I am still currently working as Assistant Engineer.

I am the Director of Engineering Services at Walcha Council. During my career I have held very interesting and rewarding positions at MidCoast Water, Tamworth Regional Council and Walcha Council. I have worked on an array of interesting and challenging local government engineering projects, with talented & passionate colleagues. I’m very proud and thankful to be a part of the local government engineering community, as all steps of my career have been challenging and rewarding.

I grew up in Kyogle and am currently working at as the Urban and Assets Engineer. During my career, I have worked for Arup, BHP Billiton and Westpac in various engineering roles. In my spare time, if not training or playing rugby league for the Kyogle Turkeys, he is hanging out with my wife and kids.
