M If you notice something that is incorrect, whether on the calendar or in any of the media articles, please let me know, and we will find the correct information and rectify ASAP. Our goal is to send you, our IITS residents, the most updated and correct information pertaining to activities and other articles of interest to our community. By the time you receive your April media, we will be in the spring season. Hopefully you will find the related articles of interest to you – if not, I am always open to suggestions. I am STILL looking for articles of interest to our IITS community – humor, current events around our area, perhaps a review of an exceptional restaurant you may have attended, etc. One of my goals is to have IITS featured on the cover of one of our 2018 media magazines. In talking with the Media Magazine editors, I learned that we can have a custom cover photo on our magazine for $35 per month. So, let’s think about a really great photo or two that we could use, maybe for a special occasion, and I will work with the HOA to approve the expenditure. For the past few events, there have been none or few pictures posted on FB. Would really like to have at least a few for each event, as I use our IITS FB sites to get pictures to accompany the media articles. I am looking for volunteer writers

    THE NOTEBOOK Nicholas Sparks CHAPTER ONE - MIRACLES WHO AM I? And how, I wonder, will this story end? The sun has come up and I am sitting by a window that is foggy with the breath of a life gone by. I’m a sight this morning: two shirts, heavy pants, a scarf wrapped twice around my neck and tucked into a thick sweater knitted by my daughter thirty birthdays ago. The thermostat in my room is set as high as it will go, and a smaller space heater sits directly behind me. II clicks and groans and spews hot air like a fairy-tale dragon, and still my body shivers with a cold that will never go away, a cold that has been eighty years in the making. Eighty years. I wonder if this is how it is for everyone my age. My life? It isn’t easy to explain. It has not been the rip-roaring spectacular I fancied it would be, but neither have I burrowed around with the gophers. I suppose it has most resembled a blue-chip stock: fairly stable, more ups than downs, and gradually trending upwards over time. I’ve learned that not everyone can say this about his life. But do not be misled. I am nothing special, of this I am sure. I am a common man with common thoughts, and I’ve led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten, but I’ve loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me this has always been enough.

On top of the excitement of this, I was also chosen as a Johnson Scholar and will be receiving a generous scholarship for my studies abroad. A huge thank you to Mr. William Johnson for giving me this amazing opportunity. This scholarship means a lot to me, and is helping me to further my dreams and career goals.
