  • The Great Big Marvel Character Index (GBMCI) Compiled by Andrew Goldstein [1]
The Great Big Marvel Character Index (GBMCI) Compiled by Andrew Goldstein [1] Version 1.0, last revised 01/20/2018 This index notes each character from the Marvel Universe that was described in one or more MARVEL SUPER HEROES game products. The abbreviations used herein follow. The letter D, followed by a number, indicatesthat the character was mentioned in that issue of DRAGON® Magazine (issues #88 to #198). The letter P, followed by a number, indicates the given issue number of POLYHEDRON Newszine in which a character was mentioned (issues #18 to #61). Some products listed did not mention specific heroes or villains, but are included here to show the complete line of MARVEL SUPER HEROES game products. In cases where character entries occupy multiple pages, the page number given denotes the beginning page of the character entry. Note that this index ONLY includes characters published under the TSR "FASERIP" system; it does not include source material for the SAGA or any other subsequent incarnation of the Marvel RPG, or unpublished "vaporware" works in progress that were never commercially released, etc. This index also does not include various issues of the Marvel-Phile and other publications which do not include character information (for example, the various Ultimate Power Book addenda, Q&A, and the character indexes themselves) although some of those articles do include non- character stats (e.g., Marvel Universe technology, or real-world miltary generic stats). The TSR-produced miniatures sets are likewise not listed, because why the heck would you need to look those up? The index will eventually include fan-made material that follows the same system, as relevant to the Marvel canon.

  • List of Superhero Debuts
List of SuperHero debuts The following is a list of the first known appearances of various superhero fictional characters and teams. A superhero (also known as a super hero) is a fictional character "of unprecedented physical prowess dedicated to acts of derring-do in the public interest."[1] Since the debut of the prototypal superhero Superman in 1938, stories of superheroes — ranging from brief episodic adventures to continuing years-long sagas — have dominated American comic books and crossed over into other media. A female superhero is sometimes called a superheroine or super heroine. By most definitions, characters need not have actual superhuman powers to be deemed superheroes, although sometimes terms such as costumed crimefighters[2] are used to refer to those without such powers who have many other common traits of superheroes. 1850-1900 Penny Dreadful Character / Team / Year Debuted Creator/s First Appearance Series George A. HISTORY OF SAUK COUNTY 883 schools of the country and the graded schools of Baraboo, and when still a youth was launched upon his career as a tiller of the soil. He has had no desire to change his occupation, as his efforts have been re- warded with success, and at the present time he is the owner of seventy acres of productive land, which shows in its improvements the marks of his good management and constant industry. His son Edward has a similar tract, and the land of both father and son forms a part of the original homestead secured by Seth McGilvra in 1853. Sixty-five years of connection with the agricultural industry have given the men bearing this family name a sure and certain prestige for skilled farming and substantial citizenship, and the confidence placed in them by their fellow citizens has never been betrayed. George B. McGilvra is a gen, eral farmer, and has met with prosperity in his stockraising operations. He has ever held independent opinions in regard to political matters, in that he has refused to allow any party to dictate to him whom to support at election time, his right of franchise being exercised in behalf of the interests of the men whom he personally believes best fitted to hold office. As before noted, he has been a factor in public affairs for some time, having served as township clerk and assessor, and for five years has been a member of the board of supervisors of Greenfield Township, of which body he is now chairman.

Historic Cemeteries of Oyster Bay A Guide to Their Locations and Sources of Transcription Information Photo courtesy of the Oyster Bay Historical Society Fort Hill Cemetery contains the graves of John Townsend, died 1668, and George Washington's Spy Robert Townsend (Culper Junior). John Venditto John E. Hammond Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Oyster Bay Town Historian A Message From Town Supervisor JOHN VENDITTO JOHN VENDITTO Town Supervisor Dear Genealogy Enthusiast, In recent years, genealogy has become one of the world's most popular hobbies. Countless people around the world are actively engaged in some form of family research. Whether it's to satisfy a curiosity about oneself, provide children with a sense of who their ancestors were or to compile a medical history, people are trying to get in touch with their roots. Cemeteries are an important research tool for many people delving into geneal- ogy. Inscriptions on gravestones can be a significant source of genealogical infor- mation, but locating cemeteries, especially older ones, is not always easy. This booklet was developed to help those engaged in genealogical research in locat- ing the old cemeteries. It lists historical cemeteries in the Town of Oyster Bay, along with the transcription records for those cemeteries. Careless hobbyists, vandalism and deterioration with age have taken a heavy toll on these historic cemeteries. If you do visit a cemetery, please be quiet and re- spectful while in the cemetery and try not to walk on graves. I hope you find this booklet interesting and helpful as you "climb" your family tree. Very truly yours, JOHN VENDITTO Town Supervisor Historic Cemeteries of Oyster Bay A Guide to their Locations and Sources of Transcription Information Researched and compiled by John E.
