The windows on the rear elevation on either side of the chimney breast were blank windows. The casement windows depicted were either painted or could be the artist’s addition not reflecting the existing appearance of the building. For the levels of the depicted windows on the rear elevation do not correspond with the window heights on the west (street) elevation, and the floors would have been visible. Furthermore, at both these levels (ground and first floor) is a fireplace and it is highly unlikely that immediately next to the fireplace were large sash windows. The original stable block can be seen extending eastward, parallel with the south elevation.
