The role: Business Continuity and Contingency Plan (BCCP), Program Manager RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manages and documents the BCCP process by updating SOPs and Test Plans • Administers the Business Impact Analysis for the enterprise (Line of Business, Site, and Department). • Facilitates Business requirement gathering, presentations and generate report. • Facilitates the development and maintenance of department and division plans. • Responsible for the planning, supervising and execution of BCCP Testing at all Division, Sites and Departments. • Creates and provides training material to the Site Manage Team and Crisis Response team. • Ensures that all changes to the enterprise (Line of Business, Site, and Department) are updated in the Recovery Plans by liaising with operational and support departments. • Provides Business Continuity updates to Senior Management, divisional management and clients. • Administers the BCCP process. • In charge with the training for all BCP SKILLED KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge • Post-secondary education or higher required • CBCP or higher designation required • Information Systems Disaster Recovery Planning and execution required • Understanding of laboratory and/or medical collection preferred • Ability to apply BCP Principles to laboratory and medical collection processes • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset. Technical skills • Experienced knowledge of the Medical Laboratory environment would be an asset • Training and/or certification as a quality professional is required • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a BCP management required • Ability to self-manage and prioritize work using time management skills and techniques • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (including Work, Excel, Outlook) effectively independently. Social Process Skills • Ability to adapt to and thrive within a team environment with competing and changing demands • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience in motivating, developing and managing people. • Demonstrated success at in building relationships and collaboration. • Ability to present and train large audiences.
