CRICKET MEMORABILIA SOCIETY POSTAL AUCTION FRIDAY 19th MARCH 2021 Part of Lot 344 CRICKET MEMORABILIA SOCIETY POSTAL AUCTION CLOSING AT NOON 19th MARCH 2021 Conditions of Postal Sale The CMS reserves the right to refuse items which are damaged or unsuitable, or we have doubts about authenticity. Reserves can be placed on lots but must be agreed with the CMS. They should reflect realistic values/expectations and not be the “highest price” expected. The CMS will take 7% of the price realised, the vendor 93% which will normally be paid no later than 6 weeks after the auction. The CMS will undertake to advertise the memorabilia for auction on its website no later than 3 weeks prior to the closing date of the auction. Bids will only be accepted from CMS members. Postal bids must be in writing or e-mail by the closing date and time shown above. Generally, no item will be sold below 10% of the lower estimate without reference to the vendor. Thus, an item with a £10-15 estimate can be sold for £9, but not £8, without approval. The incremental scale for the acceptance of bids is as follows: £2 increments up to £20, then £20/22/25/28/30 up to £50, then £5 increments to £100 and £10 increments above that. So, if there are two postal bids at £25 and £30, the item will go to the higher bidder at £28. Should there be two identical bids, the first received will win. Bids submitted between increments will be accepted, thus a £52 bid will not be rounded either up or down.

MEDIA GUIDE Version 2 / January 2018 2 The ICC would like to thank all its Commercial Partners for their support of the ICC Under19 Cricket World Cup New Zealand 2018 3 Welcome to members of the media WELCOME who are in New Zealand to cover the ICC CHIEF EXECUTIVE ICC U19 Cricket World Cup, the third time the event is being held in this beautiful country. This tournament is close to the hearts of all of us at ICC and is considered a very important event on our calendar. The tournament gives players an unrivaled experience of global events and a real flavour of international cricket at senior level, while cricket fans around the world can watch tomorrow’s stars in action on television or through live-streaming. A host of past and present stars have come through this system and the fact that a number of current captains including Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Joe Root, Kane Williamson, Sarfraz Ahmed and Dinesh Chandimal have all figured in past ICC U19 World Cups, demonstrates the calibre of cricketers we can expect to see during this event. On behalf of the ICC, I would like to take this opportunity to thank New Zealand Cricket, its staff, ground authorities and volunteers in helping us organize this important event. I would also like to thank our commercial and broadcast partners for their support in making our events so special and taking them to the widest possible audience. A word of appreciation is likewise due to my colleagues at the ICC, who have worked so hard in preparation for this event.
