A Topsy-Turvy Season Although the Seawolves went 25-25 in 2006, fi nishing .500 for the fi rst time since 1991, Stony Brook never had a winning streak go more than three games. The Seawolves had a 7-7 record in non-confer- ence games and 8-7 in their tournament schedule. The softball team fi nished 10-10 in America East, narrowly missing a spot in the conference tournament.

Seawolves Fall in Season Finale After beating up on Boston University for 25 runs and 21 hits in a doubleheader, Stony Brook fell to the Terriers, 2-0 on the fi nal day of the regular season. The loss prevented Stony Brook from making the conference tournament and ended its season.

Turek and Fanelli Honored by America East Suzanne Turek and Kelsi Fanelli were hon- ored to All-America East teams.
