TEAM INFORMATION Climbing the Charts: Junior pitcher Angela Tincher (Eagle Rock, Va.) is threatening the obliterate the 2006 Record: 39-21 Tech record books, but now she’s starting to make some noise in the ACC and NCAA record books. She 2006 ACC Record/Finish: 12-8/3rd has 1,043 career strikeouts, third-best in ACC history. Gettin’ It Done In The Classroom Junior Angela Tincher (Eagle Rock, Va.) has been a spark plug on the field, but is also getting it done in the classroom. Last year, she was named a second-team Academic All-American Thomas’ Career by ESPN the Magazine and carries an impressive 3.83 GPA in finance, insurance and business law. Tincher isn’t the only one putting up impressive Milestones numbers in the classroom as the team had a GPA of over 3.0 in the fall.
