In 63 games, the Tigers have VANESSA SOTO outscored their opponents, 80-24 (+56), in the first inning. By the end of the fourth inning, the Tigers hold a commanding NFCA First-Team All-South Region 220-61 (+159) scoring margin. LSU is 41-1 when leading after the fourth inning. SEC All-Tournament Team In games when the Tigers have taken the lead first, LSU has lost only once this season and is 45-1 (.978). In games SEC Player of the Week (3/6) where the opponent scores first, however, the Tigers are 6-11 (.353). The last time LSU scored first in a game and lost EMILY TURNER was on April 26, 2005, when LSU fell to Arkansas, 3-2, in 10 innings.
