RECREATION IS FOR EVERYONE !!! The Accessible Recreation Activities Program (ARAP) has been providing recreational activities for those with physical and/or developmental disabili - ties for the past 20 years. Following through with Redwood City’s ideals, our primary goal at ARAP is to enable indi - viduals to have meaningful, productive, and most importantly fun recreational experiences. ARAP participants range from age 14 and up and are typically mildly inde - pendent. Some live on their own, others with their parents, and many live in group homes. For all our participants, we offer an opportunity to work on physical, social and life join programming outside of ARAP with the assistance of a skills in a fun, safe and comforting environment.
