Is anyone ready to rethink this whole rivalry thing? Hems State and Grand Valley State universities are considered hitter rivals simply because they are kxated in the same general geographic vicinity, but when it comes to athletic competition, the Lakers are head and shoulders above the Bulldogs. It seems hard to keep the stigma alive about how the Lakers and Bulldogs are such bitter rivals when the outcome of each athletic competition is consistently a one-sided GVSU victory. Maybe rivalries are not what they used to be. When I think of a good nvalry. I think about a matchup that brings a competitive game every year.
