San Diego Civic Youth Ballet (SDCYB) is the resident classical ballet school in Balboa Park and has held classes in the park since 1945. SDCYB was instrumental in training & Inspiring passing a bond issue to rebuild the Casa del Prado, and, in Generations of Ballet 1971, the building was dedicated to youth cultural activities. This gift from the City of San Diego is passed on to every Summer Dancers in Balboa Park dancer who enters our studios. for Over 70 Years!
