Minneapolis Audubon Society Monthly Events Fr i d a y, April 10, 2015, 1 p.m. The Magic of Minnesota Aquatic Bi rd s N a t u r e photographer Sher Curry will present “The Magic of Minnesota Aquatic Birds at 1 p.m. Friday, April 10 at the Minneapolis Audubon Society’s monthly meeting. This photographic presentation will include Loons, Swans, Ducks, Geese, Cormorants and Pelicans. It is a combina- tion of waterfowl and some of the aquatic birds. You will see them in all four seasons and hear some of the stories that go along with the photos that were captured of these wonderful birds. Sher Curry has been a nature photographer for many years. Over the past four years she has focused on water birds of all kinds found in Min- nesota. Many hours are spent in the field searching for and photograph- ing her subjects. Her primary focus is to tell a story with incorporating the landscape and areas these birds are found in. She is also a waterc o l - or artist and uses some of her photographs for her paintings. The Bryant Square Neighborhood Center, just one block south of Lake Street, is easily accessible via the #4 bus, which runs every 15 minutes. Please join the Minneapolis Audubon Society at 31st & Bryant Avenue S for the pro- gram and refreshments!
