Can we Book Reefers also? DBZA situated within the King Abdul Aziz Port complex, offers some of advantages to the company’s which held a contract with them as Storage, Re-Export, Duty Free, Cut Supply Chain Cost and Value Added. For importing cargo to Dammam Bonded Area and Re-Export Zone, local receivers having lease in bonded area have signed a contract with the Dammam Bonded Area Authority. This contract covers the following: - Delivery from Dammam port container terminal (DCT) full to the bonded zone. - Storage/handling of the goods in bonded area warehouses - Delivery of the empty containers from bonded area to the respective vessel’s agent terminal which is outside port zone. - Stevedore at container terminal transfers the bonded zone destined containers to the bonded area (agreement between stevedore and bonded zone is there for such deliveries). Delivery to Dammam bonded area is under consignee's account and risks. • Reefer shipments Reefers should not to be booked to the bonded area as there is no facility there except when such cargoes are not deteriorated if the units are unplugged and the reefers are treated as inactive reefer containers. But if the Consignee provide required facilities for reefer to Dammam Bonded Zone area; in such case we can accept. 4- What are the procedures for Importing HAZ cargo into DAMMAM, Riyadh Dry Port & Jubail? For Dammam and Riyadh; customers should obtained all required permits from authorities involved for his materials For some chemicals customer should has Valid Ministry of Interior Approval (MOI) and same should be available in SAFETY offices of DAMMAM terminals. For Jubail; customers should obtained all required permits from authorities involved for his materials and The Line should get JUBAIL customs and Safety approval prior loading from Last Port prior POD. 5- What are the chemicals which required Ministry of Interior Approval (MOI)? There will be penalty of SAR 350 (USD 94) per 20’ and SAR 750 (USD 200) per 40’ at Riyadh Dry Port for any inbound cargo which is un-palletized 7- What are the procedures in case of losing the Original BLs? In this case, we need below documents which should approved by HO; a- LOI from Consignee and LOI from SHIPPER on Company Letter Head (Signed / stamped B- Bank Guarantee in case if the Consignee is TO ORDER OF BANK or upon HO request c- Circumstances of Loss to be mentioned on Consignee Letter head or Shipper and the same from Courier company if the OBL been lost by them. d- Copy of Packing List e- Copy of Commercial Invoice 8- What are the procedures to transfer container from DAMMAM to Riyadh Dry Port? a- Providing ARABIC LETTER on consignee letter head (signed / stamped) with below format: السيد مدير عام جمرك ميناء الملك عبد العزيز بالدمام حفظه هللا الساده شركه توكيﻻت اداره الحاويات المحدوده برجاء التكرم بالعلم انه وارد الينا ارساليه من ميناء ...........
