(We recommend either introducing the GPS data into your navigation system, printing the following description or using google maps to find us. Everything else might be tough …) Coming from direction of Almería (and Málaga) Take the motorway E-15 / A-7 “Autovía del Mediterráneo” towards Murcia and follow it to exit 520 (Los Gallardos / Turre / Mojácar). Just after the exit you come to a roundabout, which you leave at the first exit towards Turre on the AL-6111. Continue straight ahead on this road until you have passed Turre. Continued from the point “Coming from Turre”. Coming from direction of Alicante Take the motorway E-15 / A-7 “Autovía del Mediterráneo” southbound. Depending on which junction you join the motorway, you will firstly pass Murcia, Lorca and then finally Huercal-Overa and Vera. Continue on the motorway towards Almería. At exit 525, leave the motorway towards Los Gallardos / Garrucha / Mojacar and immediately turn left onto the N-340a. Just before Los Gallardos, leave the N-340a again and turn left again onto the A-370 towards Garrucha / Turre / Mojácar. Follow this road for about 5 km and then turn right towards Turre from the AL-6113. Stay on this road until it comes to an end in Turre. Then, turn left towards Mojácar on to the AL-6111. Continued from the point “Coming from Turre”. 2 Coming from Turre After about one km on the left hand side you will pass a garage “Electromecanica José Antonio”. Make sure you observe the speed limit here … otherwise you would miss the following point: After a long slight “right curve” and an earth bank on the right hand side, you have to turn sharply right just before suddenly the “Bienvenidos a Mojácar” sign appears. Do not be surprised that you are now driving parallel to the main road back towards Turre – you’re on the right track. Continued from the point “How to get to the Cortijo”. Coming from the coast, either from the north (Vera via Garrucha) or from the south (Cabo de Gata via Carboneras) In both cases, follow the coastline in the direction of Mojácar Playa. Once you’ have reached Mojácar Playa, continue to follow the coast to the central large roundabout. Exit the roundabout in the inland direction towards Mojácar Pueblo on the AL-6111. Follow this road until the next roundabout. Here, leave at the second exit in the direction of Mojácar further on the AL-6111. Finally, there is a third roundabout directly before Mojácar Pueblo, which you leave at the first exit towards Turre to stay on the AL-6111. Follow this road for about 3.5 km. Leave Mojácar up and behind you until you see the “Hasta pronto” sign on the left side of the road between km 3 and km 2. Turn left at this sign and follow the road ahead. Continued from the point “How to get to the Cortijo”. How to get to the Cortijo First, the path runs parallel to the main road towards Turre, but then turns into a sharp left turn towards the mountains. After about 1 km, you will see an orange plantation on the right hand side, behind which the first walls of the Cortijo can be seen already. Drive past the Cortijo and, immediately after, turn right into our entrance. If the path bends sharply to the right, you are about 250 metres too far ☺. 3 This copy is designed to be handed over to friends, family or neighbours who might need to know where you will be staying during your absence from home.
