Mishra in village Paretha (Khasra No. 687 & Area 10.0ha) Tehsil Nowgaon District- Chattarpur vide Govt. letter no. 3-35/93/12 Bhopal dated 8-07-1993 Subsequently lease was executed on 24.11.1993 for a period of 20 years which was expired on 23.11.2013 Department of Mineral resource Govt. of Madhya Pradesh without hearing Shri N.K. Mishra issue the order of lapse period vide letter no. 19.01.2006/12/2 Bhopal dated 19.05.2006 under the Rule 28(1) of MCR 1960. (Copy of letter is enclosed (Annexure No.1). Lessee submitted application to state Govt. against this order but State Govt. cancelled the lessee application stating that it was not submitted with in time period. Lessee was not satisfied with state Govt. decision & filed revision petition in ministry of mine Govt. of India. Tribunal after hearing the case cancelled the state govt. order considering the fact that an opportunity for hearing was not provided by the State govt. to lease. Later on lessee submitted writ application to Honb’le High Court Jabalpur & Hon’ble High Court order the state Govt. to quesh its lapse order & revived the lease. State Govt. Passed an order for revived of mining lease under Rule 28 (a) (3) of MCR 1960. Copy of letter is enclosed (Annexure No.2). 2 TITLE Mining plan with Progressive Mine Closure Plan of Paretha Diaspore & pyrophyllite mine of (Area 10.0ha) Tehsil Nowgaon, District- Chattarpur (MP) of Shri Narendra Kumar Mishra submitted under Rule 42(A) & 42(J) of Amendment “Madhya Pradesh Minor Mineral Rule 1996”. The history of lease area grant/renewal, transfer, ownership etc. is as below: S. Particular Details No. 1. Lease execution & lease period Lease was executed on 24.11.1993 for a period of 20 years over an area of 10.0ha in fabour of Shri N.K. Mishra. Copy of lease deed is enclosed (Annexure No. 3). 2. If lease expired date of renewal Mining lease was expired on 23.11.2013 & renewal application status renewal has been applied for a period of 30 years. The copy of renewal application is enclosed. After 2008 mining operations were temporarily suspended. 4.     District wise activities that can be taken up for Rejuvenation of Rivers with focus for support for migrant workers returning home Various works and activities involved in rejuvenation of small river in Ganga basin which are tributaries of River Ganga can be taken up under MGNREGA for generation of employment for migrant workers returning home. Accordingly, a total of 68 districts located in Ganga basin have been identified and small rivers and tributaries of River Ganga/ its tributaries have been shortlisted. Rejuvenation of these small tributaries forms an important component of rejuvenating River Ganga. Various activities have also been identified which can be implemented during pre-monsoon periods in the catchment of these rivers which will also help in rejuvenating these rivers. The potential areas for works programs to provide employment opportunities to them can be through MGNREGA, CAMPA & other funds for small river rejuvenation and afforestation. The components of work for small river rejuvenation may include desilting, construction of clean dam & other structures for water harvesting & storage, afforestation in the catchment, protection work for water bodies. The list of these activities have also been identified and given in the enclosed statement. The list of activities are not exhaustive but is illustrative as applicable for concept. These activities are such that they may not involve highly skilled manpower for their implementation. Even unskilled or semi-skilled manpower can be utilized for their implementation. Out of 73 districts, 34 districts (S No 1 to 34) fall in Uttar Pradesh while 20 are in Bihar (S No 35 to 54). Similarly, 5 in Jharkhand (S No 55 to 59), 12 districts are located in Madhya Pradesh (S No 60 to 71), and 2 in Rajasthan (S No 72-73).

Based on field data, the rocks of Bijawar Group comprises namely Moli sub-group and Gangau sub-group (Kumar et.al.1986, 1990).
