GAME NOTES New England Patriots vs. Jacksonville Jaguars – August 10, 2017 INDIVIDUAL NOTES JIMMY GAROPPOLO MAKES THE START Jimmy Garoppolo started at quarterback and played the first two drives in the third quarter. He finished 22-of-28 for 235 yards with two touchdowns and a quarterback rating of 125.4. He threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to WR Austin Carr in the second quarter and a 5-yard touchdown pass to K.J. Maye in the third quarter. JACOBY BRISSETT ENTERED THE GAME IN THE THIRD QUARTER QB Jacoby Brissett entered the game the third quarter and played the rest of the way. He finished 8-of-13 for 88 yards. THREE VETS MAKE THEIR DEBUT IN A PATRIOTS UNIFORM Of the 11 veteran players that are new to the Patriots in 2017, three saw their first action in a Patriots uniform. Those veterans were: DL Kony Ealy, OL James Ferentz and WR Tony Washington. THREE OF THE PATRIOTS 2017 DRAFT PICKS SAW ACTION; FOURTH-ROUND PICK DL DEATRICH WISE, JR.
