There’s More than One Way to Cruise with the WMC text by: David Harrison his will be the second annual Isles of Shoals WMC Chapter cruise. photo: Martin Callahan TJoin fellow chapter members and board the M/V Thomas Laighton at 8:55 on July 15th at the Isle of Shoals Steamship Company which is located on the commercial waterfront in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. We’ll leave our cars at the dock, just relax for the rest of morning and en- joy the high seas on the cruise ship. Tickets are $34 for adults, $24 for 12 and under, kids 5 and under sail for free. The cruise takes approximately an hour to reach the shoals. Once there, you can enjoy Star Island with a self guided walking tour for about 90 minutes before returning.

Portsmouth Harbor Light and the Isles on the horizon, nine miles out. have the ability to sunbathe and swim, enjoy an ice cream from the gift shop, and explore the reconstructed “Gosport Village” (a replica of the old fishing village that once stood on the same site.)
