I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Bill. I say "passing" because we know they are not dead but have gone on ahead of us. I'm sure Daddy was one of the first to greet Bill home. Your family holds such a very special place in my heart - so many many great memories. Your home was where EVERYONE wanted to be and I'll bet that hasn't changed. I forward to the time that we are all up there together! Dee, do you remember the itsy bitsy teeny weeny polka dot bikini? I think of you every time I see that commercial. I pray for your peace and comfort. STEPHANIE MCVICKER LINDSEY, JULY 13, 2007 Dear Fran - We can't conceive of a world here without Bill. But we surely can visualize the world over there with that big wide mischievious smile of a healthy Bill in the presence of his Father. We have a deep love and respect for Bill and you, one that goes all the way back with him to Tyler Hi days in sports (as Basketball manager in my Junior year I saw those beautiful one-hand push shots - no one ever heard of a silly jump shot in those days!) Then there were the times at church in Tyler playing football with Robert and I on Sunday afternoons. Next we were at ACC together and Bill was the one who told me after registration that he had met the perfect girl for me, named Joann Taylor. And I wasn't even looking; but it has lasted now for 56 years, thanks to Bill and our Father. Fran you have a wonderful family and many cherished memories to hold on to. But don't forget the support of all your friends, and his, who will help you hold on to those cherished and hilarious memories of a great guy. Our deepest love and condolences. Don & Joann DON & JOANN HALL, JULY 6, 2007 Fran and all the family: I know the thoughts and prayers do not end the hours of missing Bill. But those thoughts and prayers will continue with you in your memory as he will! They will be of great comfort, just knowing they are for you. I know what lies ahead of you, the days of many "first time I .... did this" or I can never remember doing this without..... Love you all and will keep you ever on my mind. Do hope I can see you soon but need to let you know I wish I could have been there. Know what Fran? I can see your great big smile and hear your hearty laugh even now! God Bless! WILLIAM A GOODWIN, JUNE 19, 2007 Bill Wilson, Wilson was much more than a Ketchersid friend, he was family. Cled and Bill could be at each others throat one minute (competitive rascals they were) and laughing the next as best friends do. I remember Bill working with Ketchersid Construction from Artesia, NM to the cool pines of Ruidosa (You know, he reluctantly let me drive him around at 12 yrs old)to Seymour, TX (we all know the fun stories, that nearly reach legendary status) to our final job in Clovis, NM. The memories with Fran and Bill at the Congress Inn, Roaring Fifties bring back fun family times. If Cled needed help he could always count on Bill to be there. Fran, on behalf of Cled & Frances and all the Ketchersid Kids, we love you all very much. We miss Bill, but we all know he is in a better place. You all are in our prayers.
