Did Wonder Woman get hit in the face with a shovel? Stop it, Edward. You already have a Superman Wonder Woman: Casualties of War Vol. 3. Ok whatever. I just didn't care for the way the faces of these characters were drawn. Maybe it's not the worst thing I've ever seen, but it was really annoying for me to look at the speech bubbles dribbling out of these mouths. Do you understand Superman Wonder Woman: Casualties of War Vol. 3 I'm saying? The actual story was fine. It shows how the Power Couple first met, and then flashes Superman Wonder Woman: Casualties of War Vol. 3 think the art totally ruined the story for me. It shows how the Power Couple first met, and then flashes forward to them in the present. They're still trying to understand each other and make their relationship work, all while juggling their other responsibilities. They've gotta trust each other to not only do the right thing, but also to be able to take care of themselves. And with both of them being such powerhouses, and both of them used to being the one to rush in and save the day, it's definitely interesting to explore that side to their relationship. Plus, it's just cool to see them beat the shit out of each other. Aren't they the cutest? I have to admit, I'm not as blown away with Superman Wonder Woman: Casualties of War Vol. 3 title as I was in the beginning. I'd say it's still decent, but unless they switch up the artist, I'm outta here. Get this review and more at View all 25 comments. Nov 24, Sam Quixote rated it it was ok. Stuck for ideas? Does the villain at least have a motivation? Did a seven year old plot this? Nothing much else to say about this one except it rounds up a handful of the worst villains DC has remember, they supposedly have the best villains! If all you want to see is mindless punching and nothing else, this is the book for you. View all 6 comments. Sep 11, Steve rated it really liked it Shelves: read-insequential-artearly-review-edelweiss. I received this from Edelweiss and DC Comics in exchange for an honest review. Really liked this one. The artwork was outstanding, and the story was very good, too. I especially liked the idea of the moral questions of why superheroes do what they do. Coming from Circe and Magog was kind of ironic, but it worked. I haven't read the previous volumes, but I'll be going back to read those. View 1 comment. Sep 18, Chris rated it liked it Shelves: review-copy-net-galley. I was given the opportunity to read this graphic novel by the publisher through NetGalley. The artwork was really good and vibrant though I'm not crazy for that cover. The story was decent, though not entirely inspiring or captivating. I did enjoy how Superman Superman Wonder Woman: Casualties of War Vol. 3 Wonder Woman worked through their problems together, learning to balance the need to protect the innocent with the urgency to take down the bad guys. They are able to play to each others' strengths, which is what you want in a super team up. That said, it was a decent little bit of entertainment without being something to pass awards out for. Aug 20, James DeSantis rated it liked it. This was It was pretty good at parts. I really think Peter needed to take over because Soule lost his way after volume 1. This one is MUCH more focused. It's just a single storyline you can stay with without reading all the other bullshit that comes with it. Doomsday volume was horrible so this is a huge step up but not enough to be great. This volume opens up with Lois Superman Wonder Woman: Casualties of War Vol. 3 Clark out on a date. Bad shit goes down and they're saved by Wanderman! Never heard of him? Don't worry, nobody has This was Don't worry, nobody has. However, someone is pulling Superman Wonder Woman: Casualties of War Vol. 3 strings and we have a war! Actually the whole volume is one big fight with some love life relationship advice spicing it up. What I liked: The fights are fun and look good for sure. The dialog is snappy and easy to read. I like Lois and Clark even though it feels a little rehash it works. The pacing was also solid and never bored. What I didn't like: Saying I was never bored it never blew me away either. The whole thing was painfully average. Fun but not all that exciting? I also thought the villain was boring and needed more work to get me to care. Overall it's around a 2.
