Brad Pitt Is Unleashing a New Rosé Champagne Since the brand’s launch, Jolie and Pitt, with the help of the Perrins have conjured Miraval into one of the world’s most popular rose brands. While breezy Provencal rosé has becoming their calling card, Miraval brought in outside help to produce the Champagne, a new style BRAD PITT IS UNLEASHING A NEW for the house. In came the Péters family, a famed family of sixth- generation Champagne makers who tend Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in ROSÉ CHAMPAGNE Cotes de Blanc. Kate Dingwall | August 31, 2020 Fleur de Miraval will contain a blend of Chardonnay (75) and Pinot Noir (25%) made in the saignée method of Champagne production. It’s five years in the making, with the liquid aging three years on lees in the Peters caves. “Fleur de Miraval Rosé is the culmination of five years of work, research, and tasting done in the utmost secrecy,” Rodolphe Péters, head of Pierre Péters Champagne said in the press release. The Champagne’s first run will have just 20,000 bottles and a reported SRP of $390. The liquid is bottled in a black lacquered Champagne bottle with pink rosé coffret packaging. After the success of Miraval Rosé, Brad Pitt is launching a Champagne. Brad Pitt is making a case to continue rosé season on through the winter months with the announcement of his new rosé Champagne. Dubbed Fleur du Miraval, the Champagne is an extension of Pitt’s popular rosé brand Miraval. (Despite the celebrity backing, Miraval is truly a splendid iteration of Provence rosé, with a curving bottle, an orange-rose hue and a bright acidity of strawberry and lemon.) The exclusive bottle will hit shelves in the U.S. market on October 15, 2020. Diageo PLC in the houses of Châteauneuf-du-Pape before moving their practice purchased George Clooney’s Casamigos for $1 million in 2017, and to Provence. Ryan Reynolds’ Aviation Gin landed at Diageo at a price tag of $610 million. The couple fell in love with the Provencal lifestyle, and purchased the Miraval estate for $31 million in 2011 (the Perrins own 50%). But Pitt promises this isn’t another celebrity project. “Above all, it’s a wonderful, exceptional estate that I fell in love with, and that I continue to invest in to make it one of the finest estates in Provence,” Two years later the Jolie-Pitt tied the knot on the sprawling 1,200 Pitt said in an interview with People Magazine. “For the wine, I vineyard estate and two years after that, they separated. • Once Upon a Time … in Santa Clarita: Tarantino Movie Opens Thursday
By: Caleb Lunetta, July 25, 2019 Once Upon a Time … In Santa Clarita: Tarantino movie opens Thursday Hollywood director Quentin Tarantino is known for his genre-defying blockbuster films that combine elements of art house, violence and comedy in his Academy Award-winning films. And the San Fernando Valley resident calls Santa Clarita “a special place,” according to local film property owners who have played host to the luminary for his latest film that debuts tonight, “Once Upon a Time … In Hollywood.” The latest installment in the Tarantino filmography follows the story of “a faded television actor and his stunt double (who) strive to achieve fame and success in the film industry during the final years of Hollywood’s Golden Age in 1969 Los Angeles,” according to IMDb.com. The film features Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. Tarantino and movie fans were given a teaser trailer where the opening shot was that of Melody Ranch’s “Main Street” set. Veluzat said that the production team had been working with the studio for a couple months, from planning to setting up to filming, and for him, it was a special experience. Tarantino has filmed two of his last three movies at Melody Ranch in Newhall, according to studio manager Daniel Veluzat, and he’s praised the SCV in interviews and conversations with local residents. He really does like it here, said Veluzat, in reference to a question about why Tarantino has filmed his movies at Melody Ranch. “He calls it a special place,” he said. And on Thursday night, “Once Upon a Time” opens in theaters across the country, including the Santa Clarita Valley, featuring scenes shot at both Melody Ranch and the Saugus Speedway.

David Walls School of Economics and Finance The University of Hong Kong Pokfulam Road Hong Kong Abstract Everyone knows that the movie business is risky. But how risky is it? Do strategies exist that reduce risk? We investigate these ques- tions using a sample of over 2000 motion pictures. We discover that the movies are very risky indeed. Box-o±ce revenue dynamics are a Le'vy stable process and are asymptotically Pareto-distributed with in¯nite variance. The mean is dominated by rare blockbuster movies that are located in the far right tail. There is no typical movie be- cause box o±ce revenue outcomes do not converge to an average, they diverge over all scales. • By DAVID LESER Two Years After Heath Ledger Scandalised Sections
By DAVID LESER Two years after Heath Ledger scandalised sections of middle America with his near- miraculous performance as a gay cowboy, he would light up the screen with another tour de force, this time as the lovelorn, heroin-soaked poet, Dan, in the Australian cult movie, Candy. Little known outside Australia, this film was based on a loosely autobiographical book of the same name written by Australian author, Luke Davies. In the film Ledger somehow managed to find his way inside the twisted, twilight world of the drug addict. I pull the syringe from her arm and drop it on the table and hold my thumb down over the tiny hole I’ve made. I release the tie with my other hand. Candy looks down at her arm like a child who’s relieved that the innoculation is over. Then she says, mmmm, and her facial muscles relax and she lies back on the bed and says, that is heaps better. Heaps better. Fuck oh God. Fuck fuck fuck. This is the best. Oh God, this is awesome. This was – as the New York Times commented of Ledger’s role – acting of the first order. “Ledger looks and plays the part of the scheming user exceptionally well. He’s deep in the character’s skin right from the start.” Ledger and his co-star, Abbie Cornish – who recently appeared opposite Cate Blanchett in Elizabeth: The Golden Age - had received their tutoring from an expert, a heroin addict belonging to a Sydney group called “Proud Users.” “Abbie and Heath got lots of lessons with a prosthetic arm on how to inject,” the film’s producer, Margaret Fink told Vanity Fair.

  • Death and Change Tracking: Wikipedia Edit Bursts Miles Lincoln
Death and Change Tracking: Wikipedia Edit Bursts Miles Lincoln ABSTRACT Bursts have been used in prior informetrics studies to predict the emergence of new fields and trends in research by looking at the occurrence of common terms throughout a body of knowledge, such as the full text of a journal. If a sudden flurry of activity in a field can be observed, it may be possible to quantify and determine to what effect this new area will take off. Having identified a new variety of burst observed in the activity on a Wikipedia page following a newsworthy event, this study took an interest in what could be predicted by visualizing these graphs, as they represent a granular, instantly updated resource that can be observed and analyzed. Additionally, beyond prediction, can the analysis of this data correlate to other aspects of the subject of the Wikipedia page? For example, does the popularity of an actor correlate to the size of the edit burst on their Wikipedia page Burst, or spike, beginning at x=3 following their death? This study develops a workflow and These bursts are typically associated with some event related to appends scripts capable of processing data from Wikipedia that the subject of the page, such as a newsworthy event. The news can be applied to any sampling of pages to visualize bursts in reaches the general public, then one editor first updates the page activity from which one could look for correlations and make their to reflect this news [2], followed by a number of other editors own predictions.
