Such services may also contribute to improve the performance of the organisations. However, mCommerce services have not been widely adopted by organisations, especially in many developing countries such as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The aim of this research is to explore and identify the various factors that influence the intention to adopt mCommerce in Saudi banks and telecoms. At the beginning of the study, factors that may affect the adoption of new technologies in organisations were adopted from the literature. A number of these factors were included in this research as they are chosen from well-known theories such as Diffusion of Innovation Theory, the Technology Acceptance Model, the Theory of Planned Behaviour, the Theory of Reasoned Action, and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology. These factors were investigated in the current study within the mCommerce context using the sequential exploratory mixed methods design. This exploratory research was conducted through two sequential stages. The first stage of the research follows a generic qualitative approach and the second stage follows a quantitative approach. The results of the two sequential studies have successfully provided adequate answers to the research questions at hand. Additionally, based on the findings of the research, the mCommerce organisational adoption model is proposed to support Saudi organisations in order to launch mCommerce services into the Saudi market. The findings of the research show that seven components can affect the intention to adopt mCommerce in Saudi banks and telecoms. These components are: (1) performance expectancy, (2) organisational readiness, (3) mCommerce features and opportunities, (4) compatibility of mCommerce services, (5) policy and legal environment, (6) social influence and (7) top management supports. Based on the results, these components may affect the intention to adopt mCommerce in Saudi telecoms and banks and they explain almost 72.13 per cent of the total variance. The three most significant components are performance expectancy, organisational readiness, and mCommerce features and opportunities. The results of this research propose seven hypotheses to be tested in the future by researchers from different countries. The proposed instrument to test these hypotheses is presented in this research. Identifying the possible factors that affect the intention to adopt mCommerce services in Saudi banks and telecoms can be considered as a contribution to the literature. Furthermore, developing the instrument to measure the effect of these factors can be a good step toward confirming the effect of these factors. The major contribution of the research to the literature is producing the mCommerce organisational adoption model that includes factors deemed useful in determining the adoption trends of mCommerce in organisations. It is suggested that the resulting mCommerce organisational adoption model can be used by Saudi organisations during the process of adopting mCommerce, as it

    Higher Education Revolutions in the Gulf Over the past quarter century, the people of the Arabian Peninsula have wit- nessed a revolutionary transformation in higher education. In 1990, there were fewer than ten public universities that offered their Arabic- language curricula in sex- segregated settings to national citizens only. In 2015, there are hundreds of public, semi-public and private colleges and universities. Most of these institu- tions are open to expatriates and national citizens; a few offer gender- integrated instruction; and the language of instruction is much more likely to be in English than Arabic. Higher Education Revolutions in the Gulf explores the reasons behind this dramatic growth. It examines the causes of the sharp shift in educational prac- tices and analyses how these new systems of higher education are regulated, evaluating the extent to which the new universities and colleges are improving quality. This study investigated attitudes of Saudi Arabian students toward the use of digital libraries in higher education at Taibah University in Madina. Data were collected to explore the relationship between Saudi students’ computer literacy skills, as well as their demographic background, and 1) their use of digital libraries, 2) their attitudes toward digital libraries, and 3) their perceived usability of digital libraries. Descriptive statistics, independent-samples , simple and multiple linear regression analyses were conducted to address the research questions. Participants were 240 undergraduate students enrolled at Taibah University. Most of them were senior (about 52%), female (about 62%), and majored in Education Science (about 47%). Analyses of the self-report survey data show that students used digital libraries on a weekly basis (M = 3.52, SD = 1.45), using a 6-point Likert-scale (1 = Never and 6 = More than 4 times per day).

In business organisations of any size and in many countries and sectors, almost every project today uses an ERP system, with various degrees of complexity and dependency. Reviewing the related Information Systems (IS) and ERP literature has shown that only a very small number of research studies have considered ERP in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), with the majority of studies focusing on other business contexts. In addition, it has been found that most of the literature discusses issues related to the adoption of ERP and the related success stories; in fact, ERP implementation is not the end of the journey. Very often, the ERP post-implementation stage is where the more crucial challenges begin, mainly involving a change in either the internal or external environment of organisations as a result of the rapid growth of technology. ERP/IS has become a victim of these challenges, which has led to an increased possibility of obsolescence. Obsolescence is associated with many costs for organisations if not checked and controlled proactively. However, the current literature indicates that no major research has been undertaken in the area of ERP obsolescence. In order to address this issue, the researcher investigated the factors that led to the ERP obsolescence phenomenon in a public university in Saudi Arabia.

Article 2: Estimated revenues submitted by the authority shall include the following: 2-1 A statement of cash revenues and revenues withheld at the source 2-2 Statistics supporting the estimates of each revenue account for at least two previous years 2-3 Elements taken into consideration upon preparing the estimates 2-4 Reasons for any increase or decrease in estimates 2-5 Statement of the actual collected amounts during the three previous fiscal years, broken down per year and per collected revenue Article 3: The Ministry may request the presence of officials or experts from the authority to discuss submitted estimates therewith. The Ministry may amend said estimates and notify the authority of the same. Chapter Two Revenue Development Article 4: Without prejudice to the provisions of other laws, the authority may not invest the cash revenues thereof. 1 Article 5: The authority shall develop the investment of its resources including lands, real estate, and other resources, and it may, for such purpose, benefit from the programs and programs concerned with developing, improving, and monitoring investments thereof. The authority may also seek the services of houses of expertise and consulting offices to conduct studies related to the development of investments, and the same shall be undertaken in accordance with regulations.
