th 68 NATIONAL FILM AWARDS 2020 Part A GENERAL INFORMATION SHORT TITLE AND COMMENCEMENT: 1. These Regulations may be called the National Film Awards Regulations, and will come into force with immediate effect. AIM 2. The Awards aim at encouraging the production of films of aesthetic & technical excellence and social relevance contributing to the understanding and appreciation of cultures of different regions of the country in cinematic form, thereby also promoting unity and integrity of the nation. The awards also aim at encouraging the study and appreciation of cinema as an art form and dissemination of information and critical appreciation of this art form through publication of books, articles, reviews etc. DEFINITIONS 3. In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires, (a) "Board" means the Central Board of Film Certification, (b) "Directorate" means the Directorate of Film Festivals under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, (c) "Awards" mean National Film Awards, (d) "Producer" includes an individual producer, a production company, a Government Department or a Government recognized institute, (e) "Right Holder" means the owner of the negative who is authorized to order prints of cinematographic films from the lab for a particular film and copyright holder of the film (in case of digital films). ORGANISERS 4. The Awards will be organized by the Directorate of Film Festivals, or such other organization as may be notified from time to time, on behalf of the Government of India. SECTIONS 5. The Awards will have the following sections:- (i] Feature Films (ii] Non-Feature Films (iii] Best Writing on Cinema 6. AWARD FOR GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF INDIAN CINEMA 6.1 In addition to the awards for Feature Films (Schedule I), Non-Feature Films (Schedule II), and Best Writing on Cinema, the Government of India will give an award called the Dadasaheb Phalke Award to a film personality for his/her outstanding contribution to the growth and development of Indian Cinema. -

AACTA AWARD for BEST ASIAN FILM Process and Eligibility Criteria
AACTA AWARD FOR BEST ASIAN FILM Process and Eligibility Criteria PART 1: PROCESS 1. Entry into competition 1.1. Films from Tier One or Tier Two Asian countries (see definition under Part 2, 3.1), that meet one or more of the Eligibility Criteria (see Eligibility Criteria in Part 2) will be considered for entry into competition. 1.2. Invitations to enter into Formal Competition will be sent to select eligible films at AACTA’s discretion. All invitations will be extended in June via email. 1.3. All films that are invited and agree to pay the Entry Fee will then enter Formal Competition. 1.4. The Formal Competition List will comprise a total of 27 films that meet Regional Quotas (outlined below) based on the average number of films from each eligible country distributed in Australia for paid admission. Regional Quotas: (a) China: nine Chinese films may be included in Formal Competition. (b) India: nine Indian films may be included in Formal Competition. (c) Japan: three Japanese films may be included in Formal Competition. (d) South Korea: three South Korean films may be included in Formal Competition. (e) Tier Two countries: three films in total from Tier Two countries may be included in Formal Competition. 2. Preliminary Selection Committee 2.1. Three Preliminary Selection Committees will be appointed at AACTA’s discretion to determine the Nominees that progress from Formal Competition: (a) The Chinese Preliminary Selection Committee will determine three Nominees from the nine Chinese films in Formal Competition. (b) The Indian Preliminary Selection Committee will determine three Nominees from the nine Indian films in Formal Competition. -

Traumacan be considered as an individual‟ssensitivereaction to a particularoccasion that annoysformernotions of aperson‟s sense of life. The central feature of trauma novel is the change of the self-ignited due to anexteriorfrightening occurrence.Ashwathy of Khadammaand Najeeb of Goat days are victims of trauma that dissect their identity. They experience a sense of disillusionment and loss of identity which leads them to a traumatic situation. Both the characters reached gulf in the hope of earning money but their journey of hope soon turned to despair with the cruel treatment of their sponsors. Their misery forced them into trauma where they questiontheir own identity. -

Keywords: Bollywood, Sikh, Sikh Character, War, Drama, Crime, Biopic, Action, Diljit Dosanhj, Punjab Abstract Sikhs have been ordinarily spoken to in mainstream Hindi film either as courageous warriors or as classless rustics. In the patriot message in which the envisioned was an urban North Indian, Hindu male, Sikh characters were uprooted and made to give entertainment. Bollywood stars have donned the turban to turn Sikh cool, Sikhs view the representation of the community in Bollywood as demeaning and have attempted to revive the Punjabi film industry as an attempt at authentic self-representation. But with the passage of time the Bollywood makers experimented with the role and images of Sikh character. Sunny Deol's starrer movie Border and Gadar led a foundation of Sikh identity and real image of Sikh community and open the doors for others. This paper examines representation of Sikhs in new Bollywood films to inquire if the romanticization of Sikhs as representing rustic authenticity is a clever marketing tactic used by the Bollywood. Introduction Bollywood is the sobriquet for India's Hindi language film industry, situated in the city of Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is all the more officially alluded to as Hindi film.
