Vanessa Shay Professional Bio As Vice President of Global Partnerships at AEG Worldwide, Vanessa Shay is charged with identifying unique opportunities for national brands to access AEG's world-class sports and entertainment properties and venues. Combining various experiential elements with traditional and non-traditional sponsorship benefits, she has helped top brands develop and implement programs that routinely generate consumer buzz and positive ROMI. AEG’s corporate partners include megabrands such as Nokia, Coca-Cola, Delta, Verizon Wireless, Panasonic, Nike, Toyota, Anheuser-Busch and American Express. AEG is the largest owner of sports teams in the world, the #2 concert promoter in the U.S., owner of the STAPLES Center - the busiest and most profitable arena in the world, the power behind L.A. LIVE- the $2 billon downtown entertainment district, the force behind the O2 London and O2 Berlin, operator of the recently built Mercedes Benz Arena and Beijing Olympic facilities in China, and more. A graduate of Michigan State University, she joined AEG in 2008 after a 4 year stay at Taubman Centers –a luxury shopping center developer/REIT- as Manager of Corporate Partnership. At Taubman she was charged with identifying unique opportunities for national brands to access the upscale and highly desirable customer base in Taubman’s elite shopping destinations. Prior to that she had and a brief stint with the Michigan Lottery's marketing and sponsorship division as Sponsorship Coordinator. Shay started her professional career at Washington and Chicago offices of Fleishman-Hillard. Philanthropically, Shay currently sits on the Board of Director of Women in Sports and Events “WISE” Los Angeles chapter- the leading voice and resource for professional women in the business of sports and events and the Southern California Special Olympic Partnership Committee Board of Directors. Vanessa currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband Jack and daughter, Ava. AEG is one of the leading sports and entertainment presenters in the world.
