eCourt Kokua provides access to public information from traffic cases; and civil; District Court and Circuit Court criminal; Family (Adult) Court criminal; Land Court; Tax Appeal Court; and appellate cases.

FEDERAL COURTS – PUBLIC ACCESS TO ELECTRONIC CASE RECORDS

 Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER)*

Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER) service provides electronic public access to federal court records. PACER provides the public with instantaneous access to more than 1 billion documents filed at all federal courts.

Registered users can:

 Search for a case in the federal court where the case was filed, or  Search a nationwide index of federal court cases.

The PACER Service Center can assist you at (800) 676-6856, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central Time Monday through Friday or by email at [email protected]. *Documents filed before October 2019 are not online.

FEDERAL COURTS CONSIST OF:

 United States District Court – District of Hawaii (USDC)

The United States District Court for the District of Hawaii is the principal of the United States Federal Court System in the state of Hawaii. The court hears both civil and criminal cases as a court of law and equity.

 United States Court of Appeal for the Ninth Circuit

The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has appellate jurisdiction over cases coming out of the District of Hawaii. The United States Attorney for the District of Hawaii represents the United States in all civil and criminal cases within her district.
