Ft. Collins, Colo. --- The University of New Mexico volleyball squad played a ranked team for the fourth time this season. For the fourth time, they came up short. Colorado State hit .349 as a team and had a team sideout percentage of .750 as the Rams cruised to a 25-16, 25-21, 25-19 victory.

The loss dropped UNM to 11-8 on the season and 3-3 in the Mountain West while Colorado State stayed perfect in the league and improved to 17-2 overall. The Rams, ranked 16th in the latest AVCA poll, are the fourth ranked team that UNM has faced, joining Stanford, Hawai’i, and USC, who are all in the current top 10.

Shay Goulding Head Women’s Volleyball Coach
