Permits are only issued at the nearest station to the entry point: Cedar Grove / Roads End Permit Station, Grant Grove / Kings Canyon Visitor Center, Lodgepole Visitor Center, Mineral King Ranger Station, or Foothills / Ash Mountain Wilderness Office.
Colored lines indicate the direction of travel required for each entry point. Entry point names are labeled. Multiple trails may be covered by one entry point. Some trails may be included in multiple entry points.
First camp locations (the minimum distance travelers must go before camping) are indicated by the length of the colored lines. No camping is allowed SIERRA NATIONAL FOREST between the first camp location and the road (except Sugarloaf, Belle Canyon, and JO Pass entry points which may camp in the Jennie Lakes Wilderness).
