Founded in 1938, the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) is the recognised baseball federation of the International Olympic Committee. Established in the Olympic capital of Lausanne in 1994, the IBAF is made up of over 100 national federation members, and it organises numerous major events, such as: the Baseball , the Women’s , the Intercontinental Cup, the baseball tournament, as well as numerous World Championships for all ages. The IBAF also sanctions the and works to continue the development and expansion of baseball all over the world.
