Th e last two matches in this year’s Slava Cup proved to be two Top 10 Final of the most exciting in the long history of this prestigious tourna- ment. Both matches were still in the balance when the last Monaco beat Vitas settled on the table. by 15.5 IMPS In each match one pair sitting North/South bid to Four Hearts, 3rd Place Play-off It was a diffi cukt hand to defend and in both cases declarerwas given a chance to succeed.
