GROUP TRAVELING: TRAVEL DATES:

DAY 1 – TRAVEL DAY / BACK BAY • Meet your JE Tour Director at the airport in Boston and then transfer to your hotel for a brief subway orientation • Walking tour of Back Bay where you will see a host of historical sites, including Trinity Church, Beacon Hill, Boston Public Gardens, and Newbury Street • Dinner in the area • The day will close with devotions and group discussion time to reflect on what you see and learn throughout the day

DAY 2 – FREEDOM TRAIL / LEXINGTON & CONCORD / NYC • Breakfast at the hotel • Check out and load coach • Freedom Trail sites • Old State House, Boston Commons, Old North Church, Old Granary Burying Ground, Tea Party Ship, Paul Revere House, and U.S.S. Constitution • Lunch on your own • In the afternoon, you will travel to Lexington & Concord where you will visit Lexington Battle Green, Old North Bridge, and Walden Pond • Later in the day, the group will head to New York City to check into your hotel and drop off luggage. After a safety orientation, you will take the subway into Manhattan. • Dinner in the city • Your day will close with devotions and discussion at the hotel

DAY 3 – MIDTOWN MANHATTAN / TIMES SQUARE • Breakfast at hotel • This morning, you will enjoy a walking tour of Midtown Manhattan and the surrounding neighborhoods.

• You will see Rockefeller Center, 5th Avenue, Radio City Music Hall, Grand Central Terminal, the New York Public Library, and more • Free time in Times Square • Your day will close with devotions and discussion at the hotel

DAY 4 – ELLIS ISLAND / STATUE OF LIBERTY / LOWER MANHATTAN / LITTLE ITALY / CHINA TOWN • Breakfast at hotel • The day begins with a ferry ride past the Statue of Liberty to Ellis Island where you will learn about early immigration to the U.S. • Once you return to Manhattan, the group will take an urban hike to visit Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, Federal Hall, Trinity Church, and the 9/11 Memorial • Lunch in the area on your own • Time to explore Little Italy and Chinatown • Dinner in the area • Devotions and group discussion at the hotel will round out the night

DAY 5 – THE MET / CENTRAL PARK / 5TH AVENUE / EMPIRE STATE BUILDING • Breakfast at the hotel • Visit the world-famous Metropolitan Museum of Art to see the works of such artists as Picasso, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, and Georgia O’Keefe • Lunch on your own/free time in Central Park • Shopping along 5th Avenue or in the Macy’s/Herald Square • Dinner in the area • Head to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building where you can see as far as 80 miles on a clear day • Devotions and group discussion at the hotel will conclude the day

DAY 6 – MINISTRY / BROADWAY • Breakfast at the hotel • Ministry with a local organization • Lunch on your own • You’ll head back to your hotel to get ready for dinner and a night on Broadway. • Dinner in the theater district • Broadway show • Devotions and group discussion at the hotel will conclude the day

DAY 7 – ROCKEFELLER CENTER / DEPARTURE • Breakfast at the hotel • Head to Rockefeller Center for a chance to appear on the Today Show • Last-minute shopping • Return to the hotel for airport transfer
