NUDE Documentary Film The feature-length documentary “NUDE” explores perceptions of art, nudity and censorship in the social media environment by chronicling the creative process of treats! magazine founder Steve Shaw and his team as they cast, design, and commission photographer David Bellemere to photograph a new collection of nude photographs to debut at Art Basel in Miami. The film documents the search for and casting of 12 unknown models using social media to explore the notion of beauty as a commodity while exploring Bellemere’s roots in Paris and how his artistic style was formed. The film is directed and produced by Anthony B. Sacco and produced by Josh Shader. 2017 STARZ ORIGINAL SERIES OUTLANDER Season Three The “Outlander” series, adapted from Diana Gabaldon’s international best-selling books, is Executive Produced by Ronald D. Moore. Book three of “Outlander” picks up right after Claire (Caitriona Balfe) travels through the stones to return to her life in 1948. Now pregnant, she struggles with the fallout of her sudden re-appearance and its effect on her marriage to her first husband, Frank (Tobias Menzies). Meanwhile, in the 18th century, Jamie (Sam Heughan) suffers from the aftermath of his doomed last stand at the historic battle of Culloden, as well as the loss of Claire. Separated by continents and centuries, Claire and Jamie must find their way back to each other. POWER Season Four Created by Courtney A. Kemp and executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, “Power” is a visionary drama that straddles the glamorous Manhattan lifestyles of the rich and infamous and the underworld of the international drug trade. Abstract When Netflix launched in April 1998, Internet video was in its infancy. Eighteen years later, Netflix has developed into the first truly global Internet TV network. Many books have been written about the five broadcast networks – NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox, and the CW – and many about the major cable networks – HBO, CNN, MTV, Nickelodeon, just to name a few – and this is the fitting time to undertake a detailed analysis of how Netflix, as the preeminent Internet TV networks, has come to be. This book, then, combines historical, industrial, and textual analysis to investigate, contextualize, and historicize Netflix's development as an Internet TV network. The book is split into four chapters. The first explores the ways in which Netflix's development during its early years a DVD-by-mail company – 1998-2007, a period I am calling "Netflix as Rental Company" – lay the foundations for the company's future iterations and successes. During this period, Netflix adapted DVD distribution to the Internet, revolutionizing the way viewers receive, watch, and choose content, and built a brand reputation on consumer-centric innovation.
