Twenty-two organizations participated, ranging from Board of Advocates to the Alumni Association, which distributed UT LAW T-shirts to the incoming class. Prado, ’72, on August 28, 2003, at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in San Antonio. Prado officially began his active service as a circuit judge after serving as a district court judge for almost two decades. “All of us at his Law School are very proud of him,” said UT Law dean Bill Powers. Three other alumni, Alia Moses Ludlum, ’86, Xavier Rodriguez, ’87, and Lee Yeakel, ’69, were recently sworn in as judges on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.
