• Collective partnership between TfL and the City of London

• Recognising the importance of reducing waiting time for pedestrians as much as possible

• Changing the signal timings to encourage pedestrians to cross safely Our proposals to improve road safety at Ludgate Circus

• Restricting turning movements could make a real difference to the pedestrian crossing experience.

• Removing east-west movements turning south into New Bridge Street would allow one of the most critical crossings to run in parallel with traffic and remove traffic from this bus corridor. Our proposals to improve road safety at Ludgate Circus

• Diverted traffic from Ludgate Hill could travel to Blackfriars Bridge via Queen Victoria Street where there is spare green Timescales for delivery of the new proposals

• Safety is always our number one priority

• We are currently going through that design process which when complete will to go to our contractors for installation.
