THE NEW YORK CHAPTER OF THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF TELEVISION ARTS AND SCIENCES ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF THE 58th ANNUAL NEW YORK EMMY® AWARDS New York, NY, May 2, 2015 – MSG Network and WPIX-TV were the big winners tonight at the 58th Annual New York Emmy® Awards which took place at the Marriott Marquis’ Broadway Ballroom. Following MSG Network and WPIX-TV with 13 Awards each was YES Network, which won 12 New York Emmy® Awards. WNJU Telemundo 47’s Noticiero 47 Telemundo: Tormenta de Nieve took home the Emmy® for best “Evening Newscast: Larger Markets” for its February 13, 2014 broadcast. WGRZ-TV took home the Emmy® for best “Evening Newscast: Medium Markets” for its Channel 2 News Tonight – Blizzard Coverage. The 2015 Governors’ Award was presented to Bob Wolff for his legendary career as the longest running sportscaster in television and radio history and his incomparable service to the New York region. Presenting the award was Maury Povich, the host of The Maury Show from NBCUniversal.
