RGC7: 7th International Genomics Conference 2014

Invitation to sponsors:

We invite your organization to be a part of the upcoming 7th International Rosaceae Genomics Conference (RGC7) in Seattle, Washington, USA from June 24-26, 2014. The organizers, Washington State University and the Washington Tree Fruit Research Commission, are excited about the opportunity to bring this conference to the U.S. and to the beautiful city of Seattle and Washington State, a major producer of rosaceous crops.

Rosaceae crops are of significant economic importance worldwide, and include , apple, apricot, , cherry, , pear, plum, raspberry, rose, and . The biennial RGC provides international researchers with the opportunity to meet, share ongoing research results in genomics and genetics, and target their research to provide cutting edge solutions addressing producer needs and consumer preferences. Collaborations fostered by previous conferences have accelerated the development of genome sequences for peach, apple, and strawberry and enhanced the application of DNA information in breeding programs worldwide. Attendees are active well-funded scientists, energetic graduate students, research administrators, and company representatives.

We are offering various opportunities for sponsorship at RGC7 and hope your organization would like to be involved. If you have other ideas for sponsorship, please contact us, we would be happy to discuss them with you.

Sincerely,

RGC7 Executive Committee
