2021 Flower Placement Information In our effort to facilitate mowing and trimming, artificial floral arrangements or decorations of any kind will not be permitted on top of memorials or on top of graves without being in an approved vase. A dated tag is no longer required to permit placement of artificial floral arrangements and other decorations in a cemetery approved flower vase. All floral arrangements and other decorations that become unsightly in the sole discretion of the Cemetery Manager will be removed. Important: Artificial floral arrangements and other decorations must be placed in a cemetery approved flower vase. Unless otherwise stated within the floral policy, decorations that are not in a cemetery approved flower vase or that have become unsightly in the sole discretion of the Cemetery Manager will be picked up and discarded. SUMMER SCHEDULE February 2nd through Thanksgiving Fresh must be placed in approved cemetery vases. WINTER SCHEDULE Thanksgiving through February 1st Fresh cut flowers must be placed in approved cemetery vases Artificial flowers must be placed in approved cemetery vases Wreaths or other arrangements must be on an easel Potted or basket arrangements Grave blankets Beginning February 2nd all arrangements, except fresh cut flowers in approved cemetery vases, will be removed by the cemetery staff. HOLIDAY SCHEDULE Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, All Saint’s Day, All Soul’s Day (and Similar Decoration Days), and Veteran’s Day. Fresh cut flowers must be placed in approved cemetery vases Artificial flowers must be placed in approved cemetery vases Wreaths or other arrangements must be on an easel Potted plants or basket arrangements Holiday arrangements may be placed three (3) days before the holiday. One week after the holiday all arrangements, except fresh cut flowers in approved cemetery vases, will be removed by the cemetery staff. BIRTHDAYS AND ANNIVERSARIES – arrangements and other decorations adhering to this Placement Policy are always welcome. PLEASE REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED  Digging or Planting.  Fences or borders of flowers, rocks, , metal, etc.  Food, drink or picnicking.  Toys, except as an integral part of an arrangement.  Glass objects, including vases.  Loose objects placed on the grave or marker.  chimes or other ornamentation may be placed in , on stands or in planting beds.

Please keep roadways open for other visitors Fresh cut flowers in approved cemetery vases may be placed throughout the year. Wildwood Urn in Greenwood Memorial Park is restricted to fresh cut flowers only that may be placed throughout the year in approved cemetery vases set level with the ground. 2021 Schedule for Placement of Flowers, Wreaths, Pot Plants, Etc. The following information should be helpful concerning the placement of flowers in the cemetery during 2021.

Fresh cut flowers in approved cemetery vases may be placed throughout the year. Potted plants, wreaths, artificial flowers in approved cemetery vases and baskets may be placed during the following holiday periods:

Valentine’s Day, February 14th Beginning Thursday, February 11th through Sunday, February 21st. Flowers and decorations placed for Valentine’s Day will be removed beginning Monday, February 22nd.

Easter, April 4th Beginning Thursday, April 1st through Sunday, April 11th. Flowers and decorations placed for Easter will be removed beginning Monday, April 12th.

Mother’s Day, May 9th Beginning Thursday, May 6th through Sunday, May 16th. Flowers and decorations placed for Mother’s Day will be removed beginning Monday, May 17th.

Memorial Day, May 31st Beginning Friday, May 28th through Monday, June 7th. Flowers and decorations placed for Memorial Day will be removed beginning Tuesday, June 8th.

Father’s Day, June 20th Beginning Thursday, June 17th through Sunday, June 27th. Flowers and decorations placed for Father’s Day will be removed beginning Monday, June 28th.

July 4th Beginning Thursday, July 1st through Sunday, July 11th. Flowers and decorations placed for Independence Day will be removed beginning Monday, July 12th.

All Saint’s Day, November 1st - All Soul’s Day, November 2nd and Similar Decoration Days Beginning Thursday, October 28th through Tuesday, November 9th. Flowers and decorations placed for All Saint’s Day and All Soul’s Day will be removed beginning Wednesday, November 10th.

Veteran’s Day, November 11th Beginning Monday, November 8th through Thursday, November 18th. Flowers and decorations placed for Veteran’s Day will be removed beginning Friday, November 19th.

Winter Schedule Monday, November 22nd through Tuesday, February 1, 2022. This is the normal period when the cemetery’s lawns are dormant – potted plants, wreaths, grave blankets and artificial flowers are permitted. Flowers and decorations placed during the Winter Schedule will be removed beginning Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
