Det är fri entré till morgonkonserten som ges i konsertsalen. Tvära kast mellan genrer har blivit något av Vindla String Quartets signum. Kvartetten bildades år 2008 i Malmö. Med sin genreöverskridande repertoar och sina många samarbeten har de gjort sig kända som en av Sveriges mest spännande kammarmusikgrupper. Bland Vindlas många samarbeten finner man namnkunniga artister som Tingsek, Linnea Henriksson, Moto Boy, Miriam Bryant, Helena Josefsson, Forest & Crispian och Albin Gromer, jazzmusikerna Lina Nyberg och Miriam Aïda samt nyckelharpisten Emilia Amper. I kvartetten ingår Caroline Karpinska och Maria Bergström (violi), Elina Nygren (viola) och Gerda Holmquist (cello) Den amerikanska kompositören, multiinstrumentalisten och författaren Nathan Larson är också aktuell som konstnärlig ledare för dronefestivalen DREAM Music på Malmö Live (14 okt). Han ingår också i bandet A Camp tillsammans med hustrun Nina Persson och Niclas Frisk. Tidigare har Larson spelat i det amerikanska post-hardcore-bandet Shudder to Think. Larson debuterade som författare 2011 med romanen Dewey Decimal. Fakta om (PAUS) Med serien (PAUS) vill Malmö Live Konserthus erbjuda den moderna och ofta stressade nutidsmänniskan en kravlös paus, ett mellanrum och en lucka i kalendern. Besökaren får chansen till ögonblick av stillhet, eftertanke och återhämtning genom musik, konst och ljudbilder. Arrangemangen och konserterna som inryms i (PAUS) har olika format, sker på olika platser på Malmö Live och ibland på udda tider. Förutom morgonkonserter blir det till exempel yoga och meditation, konsert med Martin Hederos och Jesper Waldesten (10 okt), fågelsånglunch med Jalle Lorensson (12 okt), dronefestivalen DREAM Music (14 okt) med inledande Arvo Pärt-konsert av Malmö SymfoniOrkester, med mera. Documentary Lab 2011 WORKSHOP LEADERS Mike Aaron, Director of Production, Mother Michael arrived at Mother in 2007, and began overseeing the production department. He joined the shop after spending 8 years producing for the celebrated creative ad agency Fallon, in Minneapolis. Concurrent with his responsibilities at Fallon, Michael assumed the role of Executive Producer of Uncle Forehead Filmworks, producing both commercials and new media projects for blue-chip clients, including Lee Jeans’ interactive three-episode miniseries, “Buddy Lee, Guidance Counselor,” airing on MTV. The program allowed viewers to vote, in real-time, on the optional endings to each episode. This was a first for narrative television content. In 2004, “Suspension,” a short film Michael produced (Directed by Jon Nowak) screened in the Sundance Film Festival -- and was one of the three winning films in Kevin Spacey’s Triggerstreet Film Festival. Most recently, Mother launched a full-service production company, Mother Productions, giving Mother the ability to self-produce content for all of its clients, from concept to completion – at an industry-standard level. Becca Bender, Archival Consultant, Filmmaker, Realization Pictures Becca Bender is a documentary & television producer and archival consultant. She’s currently producing season 2 of the LOGO docusoap Be Good Johnny Weir.
