Hi all, This email pertains to a service disruption that may impact your schools students. The City of Mandurah has made us aware that they will be conducting significant works on Northport Boulevard in Wannanup. These works will begin on Monday 22 March 2021 and are expected to run for approximately 7 weeks (monitor Transperth website for updates in May). The services affected by these road closures are the following: Route 592 to Wannanup (Extending to Dawesville Primary Schools) 07:34 Departs Mandurah Station 08:23 Arrives Dawesville Primary Schools Route 592 to Wannanup (Extending to Dawesville Primary Schools, Deviating via Halls Head College) 14:18 Departs Mandurah Station 14:40 Departs Halls Head College 15:18 Arrives Dawesville Primary Schools I have attached a map of the disruption, you are more than welcome to provide this to parents and students should you desire. Information regarding the disruption will be made available in the coming week both as bus stop signage notices and on our website. Closer to 22 March, students and parents will be able to use the journey planner to accordingly plan their journeys. While the disruption to students will be minimal, as these stops typically have very low boarding and alighting passengers for these services and alternate services and stops are available, we have concerns with the morning service in particular as on occasion one or two primary school students use this service from the affected stops. It would not be ideal if they were left behind. If you have any queries, please contact me. If parents or students have queries or require assistance planning journeys, we request that they use our Journey Planner on the Transperth website or contact our call centre team.
