First Day in Set for Saturday

Fans encouraged to attend games, join live broadcast in Downtown Indy

FOX Sports Indiana to televise five games across high school, college, NBA

What: Basketball Day in Indiana is a new event that celebrates Indiana’s game. It consists of five games – three marquee high school matchups, Butler hosting Cincinnati, and the Pacers vs. Portland – plus a live broadcast from Downtown . FOX Sports Indiana will televise the five games as part of 13 continuous hours of live basketball coverage.

Where: Fieldhouse (three games), , Southport High School, Georgia Street in (live broadcast), …and on TV on FOX Sports Indiana

Who: All basketball fans are invited to participate. Basketball Day in Indiana is presented by the , , FOX Sports Indiana and the IHSAA. The high school games feature Carmel, Center Grove, Lapel, New Castle, North Central and New Albany. FOX Sports Indiana’s Pacers announcers Chris Denari and Quinn Buckner will broadcast the North Central-New Albany game in addition to the Pacers game.

When: Saturday, Dec. 10, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. ET

How: Basketball fans can participate by attending the games, joining the live broadcast on Georgia Street where they can also shoot free throws for prizes, watching on FOX Sports Indiana or posting on social media with #BasketballDayIndiana. Note: Admission is free for the 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. high school games at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
