2. Types of Resources Available: Basic Needs, Children Care Services, Counseling, Crisis Support, Financial Assistance, Healthcare, Shelter, Information On Offender Status, Legal Assistance.

4. Community Advocates: Non-profit organizations available in each county across the state (24hr assistance, 7 days a week).

6. 2017 Legislative Session changes Per SB25: a. All committees (VINE Subcommittee, Nevada Council for the Prevention of Domestic Violence, and the Statewide Fatality Review Team) were combined into one super committee called the Committee on Domestic Violence.

b. Transferred the Batterers Treatment Program certification to the Division of Public and Behavioral Health of the Department of Health and Human Services except for providing recommendations to the Division on new batterer’s treatment program applications. c. Transferred the Confidential Address Program to the Division of Child and Family Services.

7. Victims of Crime Program: Assists victims of crime and their families w/ expenses related to the crime such as medical/dental, hospital/ambulance, counseling, wage/income loss, funeral, loss of support for dependents, emergency shelter/relocation, insurance co-pays, crime cleanup, medically necessary equipment i.e. wheelchair, childcare, vision/eyeglass replacement, home health care, prescription medication, home security repair. http://voc.nv.gov/VOC/Application/

8. Human Trafficking Contingency Fund: The fund is to be expended only for the purpose of providing emergency services to victims of human trafficking through nonprofit corporations and agencies. http://dhhs.nv.gov/Programs/Grants/Funding/Human_Trafficking_Fund/
