The primary data was collected from the Marketing channels, marigold producers through personal interview method with the help of well-prepared questionnaire Random for the production and marketing year for kharif marigold 2016-17. The numbers of house hold is taken on category wise was 48 Marginal and 52 small farmers. The overall marketable surplus of proportionate method, Producer, marigold was observed as 84.16 quintal. Three marketing channels were observed in the sale of retailer , Consumer marigold viz., Channel-I: producer-consumer, Channel-II: producer-retailer-consumer and Channel- III: producer-wholesaler-retailer-consumer. It was found that the price received by the marigold Article Info producer was Rs. 2300 per quintal, Rs. 2650 per quintal, Rs.3040 per quintal in channel –I, channel- II and channel-III respectively. -

Exploration Strategy for Hot Springs Associated with Gondwana Coalfields in India
Proceedings World Geothermal Congress 2010 Bali, Indonesia, 25-29 April 2010 Exploration Strategy for Hot Springs Associated with Gondwana Coalfields in India P.B. Sarolkar Geological Survey of India, Seminary Hills, Nagpur [email protected] Keywords: Strategy, Gondwana Coalfield, Geothermal, 2. GONDWANA BASINS IN INDIA Hotsprings The Gondwana basins of Peninsular India are restricted to the eastern and central parts of country and are dispersed in ABSTRACT linear belts along major river valleys, including the Damodar The Gondwana coalfields in India are a warehouse of fossil Koel, Son-Mahanadi, Narmada (Satpura area) and Pranhita- fuel energy sources. The coal bearing formations are Godavari basins. The present day basins are likely to be the deposited in deep subsiding basinal structures confined to faulted and eroded remnants of past ones (Dy. Director half-grabens. The Talchir, Barakar, Barren Measures and General, 2007). The Gondwana Coalfields in India are Raniganj formations were deposited in this subsiding basin scattered in the states of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, with basement rocks separated by faulted margins. The Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Andhra contact of Gondwana rocks with the basement is marked by Pradesh. Page 1/7 Abstract The study aimed to nd the impact of COVID-19 on values of Annual Effective Dose Equivalent of the natural Gamma dose rate from Balod, Durg and Bemetara districts of Chhattisgarh (India). COVID-19 is a severe problem for many countries and to control and prevent the spread of this problem implemented the lockdown approach in many countries, including India. In this lockdown situation, almost all people are staying at home for 24 hours. Due to the present status of COVID-19, the Indian government also xed the 67 days lockdown and one day was already successfully done as Janta Curfew, which worked the same as a lockdown. The value of indoor gamma dose rates was reported higher in most places as compared to the outdoor gamma dose rate, but in this pandemic situation, occupancy factor values are not applicable as recommended by UNSCEAR for calculation of Annual Effective Dose Equivalent (AEDE). -

My Ph.D. thesis entitled “Hydrogeochemistry of Fluoride in Groundwater of Dumarpani-Ankhiharra Area, District Kanker, Chhattisgarh with Special Reference to Usability of Water for Drinking” under the supervision of Prof. S. K. Pande. The research has carried out with the help of groundwater sample analysis, rock sample analysis (EPMA) and resistivity survey. The research reveals that the source of fluoride contamination in groundwater of Dumarpani-Ankhiharra area is geogenic and F-bearing minerals (fluorite, fluorapatite and biotite). ➢ Key of Research Responsibilities • Data Preparation o Collection of Resistivity data from Study area using Resistivity Instrument. o Collection of Groundwater samples. -

Sahu Shaheed Gundadhoor College of Agriculture and Research Station (Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya) Jagdalpur, Bastar 494 005 (Chhattisgarh), India *Corresponding author ABSTRACT An investigation for tuber crops based farming system studies under the project Tribal Sub Plan, AICRP on Tuber Crops was conducted with different components of farming conducted during the year 2012-13 to 2015-16 at two locations of Bastar division of Chhattisgarh. The ᵒ Location-1 was Village: Gumiyapal, Tokapal Block, Bastar District, Chhattisgarh State (N 19 07.181’ and E 81ᵒ 50.905’; 506 msl) and Location -2 was Village: Tatirash, Keshkal Block , Kondagaon District , Chhattisgarh State (N 19 ̊ 59.961' and E 081 ̊ 35.427'; 644 msl). The Socio- economic profiles of the farmers of both locations were recorded before and after intervention of the farming system studies. After the intervention of tuber crops based integrated farming system in the farmer’s field in Gumiyapal village, the farmers gross and net income increased to Rs 5,33,110/- and Rs 403720 ha-1, respectively. The increase in income was due to K e yw or ds integration of tuber crops, fruit crops, fish, poultry and ducks along with cereals and pulses. -
