Responses received:

Individual / Organisation Date received Comments Councillor Tim Mills 3 April I don't want to suggest any changes for North ward, mainly because the only alternatives are in the town centre and aren't as good as the community centre which is next to the car park, or at the university which is on the outskirts of town and harder for voters to reach. Rob Mann (on behalf of Parish Council) 3 April Regarding Stewkley Village Hall:

We believe that our facility is perfect for the task, disability access, good access, parking, room, kitchen, heating, lighting, privacy and central village position. Stewkley Parish Council see no need to change. Elector ‘A’ 9 April In response to an email I received from Bucks Vision regarding Polling Stations, I would like to say the following:

My eye condition is loss of central vision, so what helps me the most in a Polling Station are large print documents and large clear lettering on direction signs. Many Thanks. Venetia Davies (Parish Clerk on behalf of 10 April Regarding Bernard Hall, Cuddington: Cuddington Parish Council) The Bernard Hall provides an excellent facility with disabled access. In 2016 there was an upgrade to the lighting. Hollie Netherclef (on behalf of Preston Bissett 16 April Regarding The Old School, Main Street, , Buckingham: Parish Council) No public transport on the village so a local polling station is essential for those with no means of transport.

Steve Ezra (Chairman of 23 April Regarding Stoke Mandeville Village Centre, Eskdale Road: Community Association) With regards to using the Centre as a Polling Station, we do not have a problem with facilitating scheduled dates provided that we are advised well in advance, please note that our regular hirer’s book in November for the whole of the following year. I appreciate that we have to comply with legislation and cancel any hires already booked. However, we are a Registered Charity but do not receive any financial help with the running and maintenance of the facilities for the Parish of Stoke Mandeville and rely entirely on income earned from our hirer’s. Unscheduled dates are more problematic for the reasons stated above, have you considered using the Stoke Mandeville Methodist Church as a Polling Station as they have similar facilities and a car park also being situated in Eskdale Road and have far less regular bookings than our Centre? Contact details are as follows: REDACTED

John Spires (Parish Clerk on behalf of 23 May 2019 Regarding Parish Hall, High Road, Soulbury Parish Council) The Parish Council have considered the arrangements for the village and are satisfied that they meet the needs of the electorate and that no changes are required.
