2018 Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition Previewed at New York International Auto Show
For Immediate Release 2018 Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition previewed at New York International Auto Show • New Nissan 370Z Heritage Edition debuts at New York International Auto Show • Features 2018 370Z Coupe model enhancements – including refined exterior treatment and high-performance clutch (manual transmission) • Heritage Edition offered in choice of Chicane Yellow or Magnetic Black exterior colors, with yellow interior trim and custom graphics • Scheduled to arrive at Nissan dealers nationwide in spring 2017 NASHVILLE, Tenn. (April 5, 2017) – The calendar says 2017, but Nissan is offering a special early preview of the 2018 370Z Coupe Heritage Edition at next week’s New York International Auto Show. The Heritage Edition honors the iconic Nissan sports car as it approaches its 50th anniversary at the end of the decade since its launch under the Datsun brand. The Heritage Edition also incorporates enhancements to the 370Z Coupe for the 2018 model year, including new headlight and rear combination light treatment, new rear fascia paint scheme, smoke chrome door handles and new EXEDY® high-performance clutch (manual transmission). The 2018 370Z Coupe goes on sale in spring 2017. Available on the base 370Z Coupe, the best-selling and most affordable trim level, the Heritage Edition package is offered in two exterior colors. The Chicane Yellow Heritage Edition features black outside mirrors, gloss black graphics and yellow interior trim. Nissan sponsors global cricket events in major ICC partnership deal - Nissan becomes a global ICC sponsor through 2023 including ICC Cricket World Cup and World Twenty20 - MUMBAI, India (October 14, 2015) – Nissan has agreed to a major eight-year deal with the International Cricket Council (ICC) that further strengthens its ties with global sport. The agreement, which runs through 2023, confirms Nissan as a global sponsor of cricket's international tournaments, including the ICC Cricket World Cup, ICC Champions Trophy and ICC World Twenty20, as well as Under 19 and Women's Cricket and qualifying events. The ICC partnership is a significant expansion of Nissan's ongoing international sports sponsorship strategy. However, nothing is decided yet. More information about PSA’s activities in Eastern Europe, Iran and North Africa can be found in the interview contained in this issue. Daimler plans new plants in Europe Daimler AG is planning construction of a new car plant as well as an engine plant in Europe, Markus Schäfer, the company’s head of production, told the German publication Automobilwoche. The car plant is to be constructed by 2020. “We want to make a decision by the end of this year,” Schäfer is quoted as saying. The new facility will be designed for maximum flexibility and therefore have a significantly lower degree of automation. The new plant may be located in Eastern Europe. Schäfer also announced plans for two new engine plants to be erected in Europe and China.
