MORE THAN 4500 COMPETITORS FROM SERBIA AND ABROAD (SLO- VENIA, ITALY, SWITZERLAND, MACEDONIA, BOSNIA, CROATIA, AUSTRIA, FRANCE, UKRAINE, HUNGARY, MONTENEGRO AND OTHER COUNTRIES) THAT TOOK PART IN THE COMPETITION DURING THE LAST FIVE YEARS, THE JURY OF EXPERTS MADE UP OF DISTINGUISHED PEDAGOGUES AND PERFORMERS FROM SERBIA AND ABROAD (GERMANY, ENGLAND, CHINA, AUSTRIA, UKRAINE, SLOVENIA, SPAIN, GREAT BRITAIN…), THE WELCOMING ATTITUDE OF THE HOSTS AND THE SPECIFIC MAN- NER OF AWARDING SPEAK HIGHLY OF THE ORGANISATION AND CONTENT OF THIS COMPETITION. Muzičke studije je završila na Moskovskom konzer- vatorijumu “Čajkovski” u klasi prof. Ljudmile Roščine, a stepen magistra je stekla u klasi prof. Leonida Brum- berga. Njena profesionalna umetnička i pedagoška karijera vezana je za prostore Srbije, odnosno bivše Jugoslavije. Nastupala je kao solista sa brojnim simfonijskim i kamernim orkestrima, a ostvarila je i veliki broj samostalnih solističkih koncerata. Posebno je zapažena njena umetnička saradnja sa poznatom violinistkinjom Marinom Jašvili sa kojom je nastupala širom Jugoslavije i Rusije. Realizovala je niz zapaženih tonskih i video snimaka za radio i TV stanice u zemlji i inostranstvu. Pedagošku kari- jeru je započela na Akademiji umetnosti u Novom Sadu, gde je postala redovni profesor i šef katedre za klavir, a potom i na FMU-u Beogradu. Pored nave- denih visokih škola, radila je i kao gostujući profesor na muzičkim akademijama u Sarajevu i Skoplju. Od 2002. godine bila je šef Katedre za klavir na FMU u Beogradu. Kao pedagog, dovela je do akademskog zvanja veliki broj studenata, afirmišući ih pritom na renomiranim Međunarodnim takmičenjima pijanista i javnim nastupima u zemlji ii inostrans- tvu. Mnogi od njih danas uspešno deluju u zemlji i inostranstvu (uključujući i SAD) kao nastavnici na visokim školama, koncertni umetnici i pedagozi (Kemal Gekić, Aleksandar Serdar, Biljana Gorunović, Nataša Dukan, Nataša Šarčević, Marina Milić i mnogi drugi). Pored pedagoškog rada na FMU u Beogradu i Akademiji umetnosti u Novom Sadu, održala je ve- liki broj majstorskih kurseva u zemlji i inostranstvu, a vrlo često je dobijala pozive da učestvuje u radu žirija na međunarodnim takmičenjima pijanista u Poljskoj, Italiji, Rumuniji, Grčkoj, Bugarskoj, zemljama bivše Jugoslavije i Srbije. Dobitnik je ordena repub- like Poljske za zasluge u oblasti kulture, Zlatne pla- kete Univerziteta umetnosti u Beogradu, a takođe i plakete Univerziteta u Novom Sadu. 6 TH 8 INTERNATIONAL JENKO DAVORIN PIANO COMPETITION Pianist from Belgrade, a professor at the Faculty of Music Arts Belgrade, was born in Uzbekistan. She finished her studies at the Moscow conservatory “Tchaikovsky” in the class of Professor Ljudmila Roščina, and her Master’s Degree in the class of Professor Leonid Brumberg. Her professional artistic and teaching career is con- nected to Serbia and former Yugoslavia. She has performed as a soloist with numer- ous symphonic and chamber orchestras and she has also held a number of solo concerts. Her collaboration with the well-known violinist Marina Jašvili is particularly noted. The two have performed all over Yugoslavia and Russia. She made a series of sound recordings for different radio and TV stations both in Serbia and abroad. She started her pedagogical career at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, where she became a full professor and the head of the piano department, and later on at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade. Beside these faculties, she has also worked as a visiting professor at the Academies of Music in Sarajevo and Skopje. Since 2002 she is the head of the piano department at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade. As a pedagogue she has helped a number of students reach their academic status and make a name for themselves in renowned international piano competitions and public performances both in Serbia and abroad. Many of these students are affirmed pianists today, some of them working abroad (including the USA) as teach- ers in music academies, concert pianists and pedagogues (Kemal Gekić, Aleksandar Serdar, Biljana Gorunović, Nataša Dukan, Nataša šarčević, Marina Milić and many others). Besides her work at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade and Academy of Music in Novi Sad, she has also held a number of master courses in Serbia and abroad, and she was often invited to be a member of the juries in international pianists’ competitions in Poland, Italy, Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, former Yugoslav countries and Serbia.
