Every morning I get a call from my son to check on me and see if I need anything. Sunday's call was a little different than his regular morning call. After the usual conversation Buddy said, "Mama, I've got something I don't know what to do with." He said he had heard noises coming from the hallway for two days but when he checked the hall he saw was one of his cats. Sunday morning he heard the noise again, and when he went to check once more there was a tiny baby possum walking across the floor, and one of his cats sitting there watching it. He picked it up and called me. He asked what do I do with it? He had nothing to feed it with and nothing to feed it. I told him to bring it to me. I have a bottle to feed small animals with and it has four different size nipples. The little possum can't be more than a week old and is only about three or three and a half inches long, not counting his long tail. Since it had not eaten in two days when Buddy found it, we didn't know if it would survive. I ended up feeding it with an eye dropper because it would- n't drink from the bottle nipples.
