The house faces due east and is surrounded on the north and east by farmland. The gardens are partially enclosed by a stone wall. The driveway approaches the front of the house from the south and curves up to the double garage. Stone steps rise from the front gardens up to the front entrance where there are two double storm doors with a fanlight above.

Immediately on the right is the double sitting room which has windows on three aspects and a beautiful open fireplace with marble surround and timber mantelpiece.
